Antenna failed and needed to replace both the remote and antenna because of compatibility with older design.It worked immediately after install. The remote connected and received the program automatically from the main unit. Ordered and received the parts next day.

This is a great remote control unit. The spa control unit had gone out, so instead of buying another one I picked up this pentair controller.Make sure you have the batteries in the remote before setting up the address matching on the main control unit, the setup is fast.

The remote does not have a long range. I got it to work but the device stopped working after 9 months. The screen started flashing on/off out of the blue. I called Pentair customer support and they confirmed that I had a bad unit. However they refused to exchange it because it was outside of the 60 day warranty for online purchases. Worthless.

Received a defective unit. Contacted Pentair to register the unit and then spoke to technical support who confirmed the unit was not working properly. They offered to send a replacement which was received within 10 days. The Amazon supplier “Aquatech Pools” was helpful through the process and stayed in contact with me until the new replacement unit was received. Thanks to all involved.

I used to be able to run my spa and heater seperately. Now the only way it works is if there both on at the same time. Living in AZ in 115 degrees sometimes I like to sit in the spa without the heat. NOW I CANT

I had a pentair system and remote that was 6 years old and the remote got wet. After reading reviews that i went ahead and bought the kit with both the remote and the new antenna since i read new remotes would not work with the older antennas. Turned out installation was breeze since i had the old antenna. I did not remove the housing which was attached to the wall of my house, (and of course it already had the wire going to it.) Instead I was able to slip the new card into the old housing and simply connected the four wires the same way as on the old card the LEDs lit right up. Next put the batteries in the remote it will then ask for the address of the main panel , you need to go out to the panel and have it send the address to the remote (the instructions are pretty clear) in my case it synced in about 1 minute. The best thing is the remote then asked if i wanted to download setting from existing panel to new remote. ( you also have the option to upload from remote to your panel but this insert "factory settings" and I assume deletes any programming from you fixed panel). It took about a minute to load all the existing programs (valve settings , lights , pump speeds etc ) and it works just like the old one.

Price was not cheap but, good product.
