My daughter got a pair of these for her Halloween costume. Everyone loved them and admired them all night. They light up great and are pretty bright! We may end up getting another pair for next Halloween.

Visually this thing is perfect. Comfort wise not so much. I wore a long sleeve bodysuit with this to make it more comfortable but the lights are attached with scratchy zip ties and the Velcro neck attachment is somewhat tight and heavy. If you have a thicker neck you will probably hate this. I made the metal handles as short as I could so they were less cumbersome. Comfort aside this was perfect for the event I went to which called for “rave elements”. I brought it out after the party got started and people loved it!

The media could not be loaded. I saw a friend with this set of light-up wings in a parade earlier this year, so I bought it for myself for Halloween. Loved it! Worked perfectly and so much fun. Tugged at my neck a little bit, but it’s fine for a few hours.

Never lose your kid again at a concert ;-) this is bright and fun. We have taken it out for 3 one-hour shows so far and it’s still bright and beautiful. A star was taken off because the sleeve/pocket thing where the telescoping pole goes down was quickly torn by the pole and it sticks out of the bottom. It’s nothing a stitch won’t fix but this happened the first time it was used and is a bummer. It might help to know too that my child is 42 inches tall and this was about 4 inches too long for her so I just used a hair tie to bunch a little up on the bottom so she didn’t keep walking on the middle of the back. So this is likely better for a 10-12 year old than a 6 year old.

I got the kid one, 40 inches. I’m about 5’4” and it fits perfectly. I think the adult one might’ve been too big and unwieldy for me. It comes with telescoping sticks that you put into the edges of the cape and you can hang onto those to manipulate it and move it around. To keep the sticks in, I put them in grip first which is a tight fit but they don’t fall out. The battery pack makes you look like a humpback. Long hair would cover that. I’m thinking about snipping the zip ties that hold the battery pack up by the collar. It might be less noticeable if it dangles further down the Cape. The neck piece fit fine, more than enough room but the weight of the cape pulls it against your throat and it’s uncomfortable. I don’t use it I hold onto the edges of the cape and it’s big enough that it drapes over my shoulders and doesn’t fall off.

I don’t have a picture as we didn’t even get to enjoy this product. It is held on to the person wearing it by a Velcro extremely tight neck piece with finger loop holes that do not allow full extension of the wing. This literally choked my daughter, as she was trying to get her fingers in the holes and was not able to extend the wing out. We safety pinned the wings to her long sleeve shirt, but in the end, the neck piece was too uncomfortable and tight and she ended up taking it off before trick-or-treating was over.

I didn’t realize the wires were just going to be loose/open, which cause it to be very uncomfortable since they just rested against my skin. The wires were strapped against my neck by the neck band (which was a bit too big for my neck) and the fabric was also very cheap. One of the small pockets, for the poles, had a hole at the bottom which cause the pole to just fall all the way through. And that was before I even got to wear them for what it was for.

My daughter loved them for part of her costume. And it helped locate her while trick or treating.
