You can not calibrate it, so it is useless for a laboratory that need to work with certified equipments.The products is not precise!!!Now I see at the original manufacturers webpage a big warrant that this scale is not intended to use with certified measurements or in laboratories that need to work with precise equipment or calibrated equipment. This item can not be calibrated. That is what it should say on the amazon web page!!!
