I anticipate these will last for years with proper care. I have created full-page inserts that I slip into the outer part of the case, between the clear-plastic sleeve and the black plastic case. I now have a few hundred DVDs, each in individual cases, with clearly stated titles on the spine and housed in a DVD cabinet. Review: Maxtek makes the best DVD cases - I'm replacing all the cheap flimsy dvd cases sold by giant retailers. I had a few damaged cases in the package, but not enough to matter. There are stronger, sturdier dvd cases out there, Alpha Video uses them but I don't think they are made anymore. Maxtek is the next best quality. There's a round piece of plastic sticking out the inside of the spine that likes to get caught on the dvd disc when you try to close it causing the case to bend. Simply pressing down on the disc when closing the case takes care of that minor issue. Overall it's the best value currently available.
