Works for me
DVD's and CD's are fast passing into faded memory. But for those of us who still like discs for their artist and personalization, nothing can replace them. These cases have met my needs personally and professionally.Pro: excellent value for the money as I had to duplicate an entire seriesMultiple disc capacity keeps discs organized and gives room for expansionThe center disc clips hold securely and I didn't have any problems with removalThe case width. Having the case that holds 4 discs the same size as standard ones is very convenientThe clear plastic backing allows for insert of original labels or those of your own design. and they look great on your own video library shelf.Con: I can't think of anything. Their longevity can't be determined but they seem sturdy enough.A recommended purchase for those like me who video enjoyment include more than the movie itself but also the packaging.

These are very well made DVD cases and the cost is just as good too
I bought these 4 disc dvd cases for one very important reason. I am not a fan of how some of these "tv show complete series" are packaged. Some are pretty lame and not easy to handle the dvd's. So I decided to get the 10 pack of the 4 disc cases and now all my dvd's are all the way there suppose to be. All in there own Season casesand very easy to keep them straight. One disc on the inside front cover One disc on the inside back cover and then the middle of the case which moves back and forth and one disc on both sides of the middle section. The cases themselves are very sturdy plastic NOT that thin stuff you sometimes will get a dvd in (soo lame) NO these are good I was hoping that what I read on the reviews were true and Yes VERY GOOD QUALITYI also saw some negative things about these cases and yet NOTHING about any of these 10 cases had a problem like the ones I saw on the "negative" reviews. Not hard to pop a disc on and not hard to take them off. Plastic sleeve and case were not scuffed up or scratched they all looked great and all worked just find...middle sectionmoved back and forth smoothly. The case snaps closed and opens without a lot of effort and is secure.Worth the money and if you had to do it you can take that middle section out if you just needed a 2 disc case and don't want to spend more money just for that. Nice when you find something that's made well and isn't over charging for it. Check'em out !Highly recommend these

How Cheap Are These Cases?
10 pack of Standard 14mm Maxtek 4 disc DVD cases.I would not say these are professional quality, in other words, I would not use these cases to house DVDs that I would be selling. Instead, I would use them to house home movies or replace busted retail cases that I own. These cases appear to be made of the recycled plastic instead of new plastic stock, which is what makes them more bendable (see pics). Really cheap cases almost break at the spine after you've opened and closed them a few times, especially if you open them all the way to put a label in. The joints on these cases are better than that, I have flexed them quite a bit and they seem to be holding up ok, though you can tell they are not as strong as the pro cases made of new plastic. I also noticed the plastic sleeve seemed to be glued quite well on one side, but not as good on the other (see pics). I can see this being an issue with the machine at the factory, as if the one side of it heated up enough to attached the sleeve properly, but not the other. So if that were the case, they have probably made lots of cases this way until the machine was repaired, so your order may not be like this. In any case, this defect does not affect the functionality of the case, the sleeve holds quite well.BOTTOM LINE:These are good middle of the road cases for discs that are going to sit on the shelf and be handled with care. I would not suspect they would last too long sitting in the car, the attic, or in the hands of a 3-year old. If those things apply to you, these are good cases for the money.

Used these for some older DVDs I had that have a broken case. Worked great.

Sturdy
These hold 4 DVD's very well. Plastic is sturdy and closure is good. No problem with these and I would buy them again.

If looking for quality replacement DVD covers, look no further!
A great price for 4-disc DVD covers - these turned out to be a MUCH BETTER quality than some clear covers that I previously spent close to $10 apiece for (cover wouldn't remain closed not to mention the fact that I was only sent the one when I purchased two - Amazon did refund w/o hassle). The disc retaining ring on these covers appears to be well-made and makes it easy to remove or replace disc with difficulty or fear of breaking. Highly recommended!

Sturdy
I had purchased a season of a tv show and the case it came in was broken. When I opened it for the first time I had 25 pieces of black plastic fall out. I ordered the Maxtek Standard for a replacement case. It was a great price for 10 cases. The plastic is definitely thicker and sturdier. Now I don't have to worry about my discs sliding around or getting scratched.
