I watched a couple YouTube videos before installing and that's all it took. Unscrewed the back popped old battery out, popped new battery in screwed back back on, fixed.

Simple replacement battery for my Garmin Edge 705. Works perfectly. My bike computer has a new lease on life!

the kit is complete with everything that you need to replace the battery. I would have given it 5 stars if you did not have to use the adhesive strip from the old battery which in my case did not come off without a lot of persuasion and a bit of deforming

Worked great. I viewed video on line vs DVD. That was before I ordered and didn’t need to look back. Hard to get adhesive piece off old battery on to new, but it works.Only suggestion is to take photo when you disconnect old battery. I didn’t and took me several minutes to line up plug to new battery.It’s worked great.

Although Li-ion batteries can hold a lot of energy in a small, light package they have the disadvantage that they lose capacity quite quickly (as much as 50% in five years). My daughter's Edge 705 was not running as long as it used to - it was down to 12 hours, so I thought I should try this product.It comes with custom tools and a great video to show you how to replace the battery. It really could not be easier. After replacing the battery the run time is back up to what it was when the Edge was new - about 16.5 hours. That $25 investmet extended the life of a $400 GPS system another five years.I understand this company makes similar replacement battery kits for cell phones and other devices. I would strongly recommend them.

Very simple to fit new battery, Garmin Edge 705 (appx 2007) now back up and running, seems to be giving me plenty of hours' use. Very pleased.
