Product arrived missing a couple of the metal rods. Contacted their customer support and had replacements within 72 hours.This is the second one I've bought. Very easy to put together and very sturdy. No tools required.

I had a small spot that needed something and this shelf works great. I put a couple of plants on it and it seems sturdy enough. Super easy to put together.

This unit was incredibly easy to assemble, so much so that I was a little disappointed I couldn't have a little more fun putting it together! The wood is particle board with laminate strips but it's high quality and looks and feels good. Overall it's weightier and sturdier than I'd expect from a $30 shelf.There's another review complaining that the smaller top two shelves were too small to bridge the poles that hold them up. Wait! You didn't get a defective product! The holes on the long shelves aren't symmetrical, the middle holes are closer to one end than the other. You have to put the poles on the side with the closer holes and then the top shelves fit just right.The laminate strips around the edges of the shelves have a seam on one of the front/back-facing sides. I recommend taking care to put align the seams with the side you expect to face the wall. The seam isn't visible in most lighting conditions but it stands out if you shine a light straight at it because the wood grain doesn't line up.

It was easy to assemble, it looksreally nice and it's sturdy.

This is one of five different units I have bought from this company in recent weeks - each time I get one, I like it so much I get another. Again, I can't say enough about ease of assembly, good looks, and solid construction. Really a gem in the rough and an excellent value - don't let the very low price dissuade you. I also feel that how a company handles issues/problems says a lot about them, as much as the product itself. My package was missing a metal pole - this unit required fourteen and there were thirteen in the box. The insert in the package says to call or email Convenience Concepts directly for issues with parts, etc., so I emailed them. Got a very quick reply, and in about a week I had a very well-wrapped metal pole in my mailbox that now allows me to assemble this unit completely. Very happy with the product and how the company handled the issue.
