Really good stuff and easy to use
I'm not patient with spray paint. I try but in my efforts to get complete even coverage, I often create runs and sags. I used this on my suspension installation kit, lots of opportunities, not 1 run and it looks great. Hoping I have the same luck with the chassis black I choose.

Worked very well
I used this self etching primer on a painting project of my existing porch enclosure. The factory finish has faded quite a bit. No corrosion just major discoloration. This primer did a great job of providing the base coat. It went on evenly and the top coat stuck to it very well.

Not your regular aerosol paint!
I've been doing automotive refinishing for 50 years. I've also been a commercial painting contractor for 25 of those years and transferred those application techniques to commercial and high end residential finishing. I have 3 air compressors, 6 Binks spray guns, 4 pressure pots and numerous fluid nozzles and air caps. Some small jobs just aren't worth getting all of that out and cleaning it afterwards. These Rustoleum Automotive Finishes fill that void. I especially like the Acrylic Lacquers. As opposed to regular Lacquers, they are hard enough to be wet sanded, clear coated and even buffed to a mirror like finish. Rustoleum's spray can handle helps too. With some time and effort, you can produce a shoo quality finish. If you are as picky (anal) as me, you'll need wet sandpaper, sanding blocks, and sanding squegees!

creates a great bond
Have used it on several projects. Always goes on smoothly and cover easily. Only complaint is that if you use a partial can. the nozzle may be clogged when you try to use the rest later.

Primer sticks to aluminum chairs. Paint sticks to primer. Works!
I had aluminum chairs that I had to prime to get the paint to stick. I tried paint made for grills. Didn’t work. I needed two cans. Same product at the home improvement store was $2.50 more per can. Saved 5 bucks. So far the primer worked on the aluminum chairs. The new paint isn’t flaking off the primer. Chairs look new again.

Great for a perfect finish
You need a good foundation to achieve perfect results using enamel spray paint. This primer does the job. Doesn't leave globs or streaks and no runs. 2 light coats and you are color ready. I bake my enamel and this hasn't bled or been a problem. Best price around. Satisfied With the purchase.
