For the price it works better than expected.
I will not say it is for someone that would use a nibbler on a daily basis. There are a few times, like maybe once a year or so, that I need a tool like this. Have made do with what I had and it was more work than needed. Today I got my nibbler for this years project and it worked perfectly. Very happy with the tools performance and it made my project go so smoothly and fast. Now I am thinking I might have to use thin metal for more of my projects based on how well this worked.

Great for sheet metal
I used this to cut out a round take off from a supply trunk. It worked perfect and was fast. I had to cut between two floor joyces and it was compact enough to fit in there.

Great Little Gadget, Works as Advertised. Hopefully it lasts a long time.
This gadget works pretty well. Gotta make sure to feed it with positive pressure on the handle, it will not feed itself through on it's own. Curves can be tricky if you're trying to make them sharp, but thinner metals are pretty easy. Making multiple passes helps. I used a drop of Marvel Mystery Oil to lubricate the cutting cylinder - probably not the perfect stuff for the job, but it worked great anyway. Thickest I've used it on so far was a 16ga sheet of cold-rolled steel, and it worked well - it did bind up once on a sharp curve I was attempting, and backing the device up was a little tricky, but I approached it a different way on my second try and it worked fine. Left a bit of a burr, but easy enough to grind or sand away. No burrs at all on the 22ga steel I used for my first test, although the edge was close to knife-sharp and if it had been a real project (and not just scrap) I would have had to file it down and knock the edge back. Keep that in mind - trace the outline you want and cut along the outer edge of your tracing. This should leave enough material on the edge to be safely knocked back without compromising your intended dimensions. I recommend using a magnetic tray underneath or some kind of catch pan - the half-moon shaped slivers this leaves as chips are quite sharp and not fun to get stuck in the soles of your shoes. Haven't stepped on any with bare or socked feet but I'm betting that's not too fun either.

it works well enough on battery screw drivers.
being a nibler, it works sufficiently well on 3 volt battery screw drivers. don't be in a hurry, but it works on many materials. vynol, think aluminum, plastic sheets, and cardboard.

Holy Crap!
I was skeptical about how well this item was going to work based on what similar models were being sold for on other sites. This is simply a case where "you get what you pay for" is dead wrong.I was absolutely speechless by how easily this tool literally ate it's way through the steel plate I had been grinding away at two days before with the ever trusty 4 1/2 inch grinder with a cut wheel in order to create the design drawn onto the surface. There is a slight learning curve as to which way the tool needs to face in order to fulfill the needs but after about two or three minutes I was happily and quickly on my way. If I had any concerns it is that this thing produces a LOT of curled steel bits that fall away and the cut path is approx 1/8 or 3/16 of an inch wide.Well worth the money spent and at this price you could almost get three for what others are selling one for. AND..you have an extra bit for when the first one ever goes dull. (remember to always use lubricating oil)

Damn good tool. I have a $300 Makita electric nibbler ...
Damn good tool. I have a $300 Makita electric nibbler and a Chicago pneumatic air nibbler. Their dies and punches don’t last long as one side of this one. They also cost as much as two of these! ( the dies and punches). You get two sides, ability to cut tighter radius’s longer wear, twice the value and better performance! Metal artist for 6 years, working 20 ga sheet metal. All of them that look like this are the same and imported, take your pick! Probably all made in the same factory! Two thumbs up! My plasma torch is lonesome now!

Simple & Cleaver metal siding cutter
I purchased this for cutting some steel siding {barn steel} . Found out pretty quick that flat surfaces are easy to work with. Ribs cut at 90 degree are going to manageable but your going to have to work for it. Cutting through ribs on a angle forget about it. The head doesn't lend it self to that angles over ribs cut. With a little practice you can get some good lines and no burs like the ones you get from tin snips. I also used a 3/8" cordless impact and it worked even better than the drill did.
