DealBasic 8 LED 10X Handheld Magnifier, 3.4-Inch (DB-M810W)

Got this initially for my nephew's science class and I found it to be pretty handy especially that it has a fair dual magnification power levels and LED lights to boot. So I also got one for myself and have already tried using this with my custom action figure hobby. I’m quite satisfied with its fairly clear and undistorted magnifying image or text, the very lightweight but super comfortable handling feeling and extremely large viewing area lens.The eight white LED lights are also bright enough and surprisingly these don’t deplete the battery’s juice that easily. This is one thing I like about LEDs and it’s perfect for low lighting conditions even in the outdoor. I like the fact that I can just switch on the LED lights and it helps a lot when painting those tiny intricate details on my projects. The handle and frame is very sturdy and can be clip on a stand when I’m working, so it has done its purpose quite well.A nifty bonus on this handheld magnifier is its violet light that illuminates and makes holograms on money more conspicuous. It’s not that I would mainly use it to detect counterfeit money but it’s a good thing to have this feature for whatever might come up especially when checking legal documents.

great item to have on hand to read small print, such as serial numbers, or read something that may be in difficult to reach location. Two light options 1) set inside surround of glass when using main, 3" magnifier, 2) set inside handle "violet" for better view with 20x, billed for use to detect holograms, but useful for any small item. Nice that it comes in a felt-type bag to minimize scratching, dust

This lightweight illuminated magnifier is a versatile and handy tool. I use it for lots of things ...mostly to replace squinting. It is not a substitute for old eyes to young ones, but surely helps until that option becomes available. The UV addition is quite entertaining.Have dropped it on my tile floor way too many times and it continues to light my way.

I have bought two of these and will buy a third as a gift. The magnification is much better than others available and the lights really help. Light weight and very easy to use. The size is just a little larger in diameter than others I have seen available. Highly recommend!

It's a very well made piece. The stronger glass is really to small to see out of while needing largest magnifier or I would have given better rating. Overall a little pricey since only one magnifier is usable. But still a nice item

Size and optics are nice. Light feature bothers me. Click once to turn white LEDs on, click again and a single UV? LED comes on, click again to turn off. I keep leaving the single LED on thinking I have turned it off.

I was under the impression that this was a 10X magnifying glass. I bought it for a gift for someone in their 90's that has Macular Degeneration and does not see well. He is using a 6X and this glass was not even close to the magnification of the 6X. Totally misled. I guess this is why I do not buy on line.

I love it - we are aware how hard it is to write read the back of some medications and the instruction on some facia product. No worry with this lens. There is also a small extra magnifier inserted at the bottom. I have not had to use it because the magnifier itself is truly great. Light weight and so easy to use.
