Clover 1055/L Amour Crochet Hook, Size L/8.0mm

I'm new to crocheting but I've seen a lot of people recommend clover hooks and although a bit more expensive than I would have thought they definitely seem worth it. The handles are comfortable and the hooks themselves are quite smooth

One of the best crocheting hooks ever. It's so soft and light in your hands, very easy to use and maneuver. I love the pink color.

I have been using both Clover Amour and Soft Touch as well as Tulip Etimo crochet hooks for many years. It has made the difference (for me) of being able to crochet without pain. The ergonomic style of these hooks keeps my hand from cramping and my elbow from hurting.The only problem was that the ergonomic hooks were only available in sizes up to US K. When I wanted to crochet with a bulkier yarn or hold several yarns together (to make my own unique look), I had to resort to standard hooks. Because of the pain, I would only work on a few of these projects and then only for a short amount of time per day.I use discovered that Clover Amour has come out with larger size ergonomic hooks and, after trying this one, I came back to buy all of the sizes for me and as a Christmas gift for my younger daughter.The hooks are fabulous. They are all plastic were the smaller sizes are metal hooks with plastic handles. I thought that might make them too slippery to work with but I haven't had any issues whatsoever.It's really exciting to be able to work pain free with bulky yarn and especially putting several yarns together. I've already finished a number of projects I gave as Christmas gifts this past year and am looking forward to working on some afghans and other fun projects.If you aren't sure, as I wasn't, try the hook in the size that you think you would use most. For me, that was size L. If it works for you, buy them in other sizes as the need arises.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Clover Amour hooks! I have at least 1 in every size and 2 of the hooks I use the most often. I love them so much I purchased a set for my daughter and my sister. I love the fun color coding for each size, that the larger hooks are plastic so they aren't too heavy, and the perfect ergonomic handle.They just glide over the yarn, no snagging at all. I have never broken a hook in all the years of daily use, and they remain the same quality as the day I opened the package. A great price on Amazon, even if you buy one hook at a time (but don't, buy them all!)Whenever I am asked about what hooks are my favorite, I always rave about Clover Amour.

Easy to hold. Love the soft grip, and vibrant colors. The hook style is easy to work with. The L size was exactly what was needed for working with the Faux fur.

I have only been crocheting for a few months. So far I had only used the plain aluminum hooks, like Boye. After joining several FB crochet groups, I began to see posts about the difference in hooks. I decided to try the Clover Amour plastic hook. Oh, my goodness!! What a difference this hook makes. The yarn just glides over it!! I will definitely be buying more.

For the longest time I always assumed that the crochet hook itself couldn’t make that much of a difference if my technique was good. I’m here to say that I was wrong. This hook is so smooth and effortlessly slides through my stitches. I highly recommend this hook especially if you’re getting frustrated with chenille style yarn projects like I was.

This hook is very comfortable and picks up the yarn easily. It's my new favorite!

This is definitely my new favourite hook, the grip is comfy and the hook itself slides nice with the yarn.

I will only ever use Clover hooks! The quality and superiority far exceeds the competition! At first I wished clover would make metal hooks in the bigger sizes but I find the plastic work just as well! Nice slip!
