8x8 is awesome
Really like the writing style that tells a story while also getting the training knowledge in. Keeps you interested and entertained but also teaches you the how and why. I just started week 4 which is a reload week (not deload) and I feel good. Still lifting challenging weights but increasing volume instead of weight keeps me from feeling beat up from lifting so heavy all the time. Also the short rest periods is helping get some wind back in my lungs and chiseling away at my physique. Overall I 100% recommend this book as a quick read, entertaining and informative. Stop delaying and start improving your life. God bless.

Buy the damn book already
Josh Bryant always writes damn good books, with top notch programming. This one is no exception, glad to see he is keeping the legend Vince Gironda and his training methods alive, but adding Josh's twist to it. Just finished the first leg day, and it was brutally blissfully awesome. I will always seek to buy Josh Bryants books. Have them all already.#gasstationready

Another Jailhouse Strong classic!
Josh and Adam knock it out of the park again! This book not only contains incredibly helpful information, but is written so well and reads so easily you won't even notice that your brain is working.The stories they have to share make the training program come to life, and the tidbits of lifting history (both their own histories and lifting history in general) are fantastic, and are facts that everyone should know.The program itself, which I will be running in a few months, looks brutal but effective. It's written well, and very easy to digest. Anyone can read it and figure it out quickly.P.S. - it's less than $10 so why haven't you bought it already? Money well spent.

Always Inspiring & Refreshing from Jailhouse Strong!
I picked up the kindle edition of this book and as always, Josh's books are refreshing and inspiring. Refreshing, because there is NO fads & gimmicks. Inspiring, because you know Josh LIVES this, he doesn't make s--t up. He tests his training and then puts it out there. This book is shorter than most of Josh's books and focuses on delivering the workouts for you to follow. This is a great book with a Golden Era Bodybuilding touch added to proven powerlifting methods. Great stuff as always, highly recommended.

Great program
Going to be using this as a prep for my next bodybuilding contest. Always been a fan of Vince and jailhouse strong canât wait to see the gain lots of great stuff here plus substitutes for anyone lacking equipment.

Great resource!
This book provides a definitive outline for an off-season approach for powerlifters, competitive lifters, and athletes of all sorts. The significance of this book is beyond measure since the off-season is just as important as in-season training, thanks!

Best so far
I have every book Josh and Ben have written. This is by far the easiest to understand of all of them. It's not because the others are hundreds of pages larger. This one was just written clearer/better. I bought it the first day it hit Kindle, built a spread sheet for it and started the following Monday. Great break from the normal grind. I'll buy the paper back as gifts for others.

Greatest selection of books on training written. Even if I have no intention on following the program i still read just for the knowledge in them

I'm just an average guy that enjoys working out for multiple personal benefits and to stay in shape for work. Anyone can invest in this little nugget for huge lifetime satisfaction. I love to be humbled and learn with the bonus of a good chuckle. No brainer!
Bei diesem Preis kann man eigentlich nichts falsch machen und bedenkenlos zuschlagen. Noch dazu ist Josh Bryant ein bekannter Coach fßr ein paar der Stärksten amerikanischen Kraftdreikämpfer und Wettkampf Bodybuilder! Am besten lässt es sich zusammenfassen als ein "total non-bullsh*t" Programm fßr alle die etwas Abwechslung im Trainingsalltag suchen

Great book as usual.
I've been a strength and conditioning coach for over 15 years and I've spent alot of time on reading and education.I've that time it often feels like you are reading the same stuff over and over again, not with Josh Bryant ...I have bought literally everything he has put out and am always excited by the content.8x8 is no different. Im a Big fannof Gironda and his writing and programs. Plus I have experimented with adjusting 8x8 for strength myself. Josh has just created a plan that makes it super easy to understand and implement.So much so that, as usual, I'm dropping my other program and jumping straight onto this.Thanks Josh
