Great Price, Great sound
Great Price, Great sound, only thing I would of liked to have extra is a sleep timer, otherwise you have to turn it off manually. You get to adjust base and treble as well, my dad has a Bose and he can't even do that with his. (I am not saying its better though)

Really happy
I really like this sound base. The sound is so much better than my flat screen speakers. I like that there are so many speakers all over this base. It was easy to hook up to the TV. The only reason I didn't give this five stars, is that sometimes the background music/show intros are too loud in comparison to the dialogue. I would recommend this product to family and friends and have told them how happy I am with this purchase.

Good sound. Little things missing.
It sounds good and delivers more than enough volume and base. If use optical connection, cannot control volume from TV. Another controller to manage. Also would like to turn off light In/Off light. Very bothersome at night when trying to sleep. Have to cover light, but then controller does not work.

Big bang for your buck!
I am very pleased with the performance of this sound bar. Not only is the appearance similar to a Bose, in my opinion, the sound quality is equally comparable.

Sound base with excellent audio
The Orbitsound SB60LX airSOUND Base Soundbar isn't a soundbar in the way you might traditional think of soundbars - it's a sound base. Big enough to act as a base for your television. Packed inside the sleek black case are 5 speakers with an integrated sub-woofer, giving you lush, dynamic sound in a tidy package.Set-up is a breeze, basically plug and play, and the base comes with multiple inputs (optical and two aux) so you can hook up several items. The base has a red light to let you know when it is off and a blue when it is on. I wish that there wasn't a light at all because I hate the evening glow of a million electronics, but that's a personal preference. On the back of the unit is a master volume knob so you can choose your top level. The bar promises panoramic sound, and it really delivers. No matter where I am sitting in my room, the sound comes through clear and full. That's helped by the fact that two of the speakers are situated on the side of the base, so keep that in mind if you plan on putting this in a cabinet - you might loose that rich side sound.I've been so impressed with the crisp, clear highs and the deep, throaty lows coming out of the speaker that I've even used it to play music off of my ipod. Not only will it give your TV that sound boost to give you really life-like sound, but it can stand on its own as a speaker system - impressive! This is my first foray into Orbitsound and though I wouldn't put it on par with your Bose or Polk audio just yet, it is definitely worth considering if you want to spend a little less but still want a rich sound in a sexy little package.

Great To Enhance Your Current TV Sound But Is No Home Theatre
The Orbitsound SB60LX is a speaker-base that sits under your TV and is ideal for rooms where a surround sound placement is not possible or desired.A speaker-base provides better sound than a traditional soundbar, like the VIZIO S3820W-C0 38-inch 2.0 Home Theater Sound Bar with Integrated Deep Bass but is less capable than a Soundbar with a subwoofer unit, like the VIZIO S3821w-C0 38-inch 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer The SB60LX measures 23.5" L x 12" D x 3" H, and most slim profile TV stands less than 50" will fit on it comfortably. It is a well-constructed unit that consists of 2 front-facing drives, 2 side-facing drivers and a single 5" down firing subwoofer. The SB60LX enhances your viewing experience by providing deeper bass, cleaner vocals and a pseudo surround sound feel. In addition to controlling the volume the unit provides the ability to control bass and treble from the remote. The sound experience is great but not fantastic in my setup, where my TV is placed in an open room. The SB60LX is unable to provide a true surround sound experience as there is no wall on one side to bounce the sound. Most of the sound, albeit great sound, seems to come from one direction.A slim rubberized remote control accompanies the unit that has oversized independent buttons for volume up and volume down. It also has buttons to mute, control Bass and Treble, and a button to switch between the 3 sources - TOSLINK (optical), RCA and 3.5mm jack. You can use the 3.5 mm jack to play music from your phone or tablet. Rounding off the buttons is a standby button. On the unit you have a master volume control and a power switch. There is a blue LED, behind the front grill, that switches to red when on standby. The LED provides feedback, by flashing, when a remote command is executed. The SB60LX competes, at a lesser price-point, with the Bose Solo 15 TV Sound System, Black and though the Bose manages the bass and surround slightly better, I do not believe that it warrants the 30% premium.Recommended - especially if you do not have a high-end TV set.Pros:* Well-constructed compact unit fits under most slim TVs below 50"* 3 AUX inputs for multiple device hookup - TOSLINK, RCA and 3.5mm jack inputs* Provides an enhanced sound experience in open spaces* Good price-point* Ability to control Bass and Treble via the remote control* LED on front provides feedback and switches to red when on standby* Master volume control on back of unit to limit sound as required* IR remote control enables all functions to be programmed to your universal remoteCons:* Surround sound experience is not the greatest, especially in large open rooms* Rubberized remote control buttons are a little less responsive and require positive pressure* Remote requires to be pointed to the front of the unit to work

Well built and does its job.
I'm very happy with this and consider it excellent value for the £120 I paid. The build quality is good with a smart all-black look. It does exactly as described; making speech much clearer (by adjusting the treble and bass controls) and enhancing and deepening all sound in general. It was very easy to set up; basically plug the mains in and connect one cable to the tv. I have a DVR and blue ray dvd connected to the tv and it works perfectly with them. The remote is a neat, well made item which controls volume, bass and treble. To avoid seeing the rather bright light on the front (blue for on, red for off) I have stuck a small self-adhesive sticker over it which I first inked black. This hides it completely without affecting the control at all.

Great door stop!
Heavy enough to keep the most solid doors open or even just ajar....love it.Shame though, I could probably have bought a door stop for a fraction of the price. What I really wanted was something to improve the sound on my tele!Suppose I'll have to buy a sound bar. One that synchs to the TV so there isn't a half second delay between the words and the lips moving and maybe actually gives the impression of surround sound. Can't afford one just yet though because I've bought this heap of junk and the company don't want to give a refund.Has anyone got any suggestions?

I wish I'd spent more.
It's okay but not brilliant, the sound quality is definitely an improvement on the tv speakers, but I've listened to better sound from other people's soundbars. I wish I'd spent more.

Had this about six weeks. Delivered on time but the guy who delivered it tried to give me a bad time about all the people who were not in when he tried to their stuff. Also told me the parcel was in his van. I said very good, how about you get it then.About the Orbitsound. Obviously it is better than the sound that comes out of your flat screen, which it pathetic. From unpacking to working took about ten minutes top and that included lifting up TV whilst my wife put the Orbitsound under it. It is well built and sturdy. The sound is very good and you can adjust it to suit your taste. It would have been better if it had built in blue tooth connectivity, but that is about the only downside. But is not a deal breaker for me as there are other ways to connect other devices. I read that the remote was flimsy and small and you can loose it due to the size. I would say it was well made but it is small. I haven't lost mine yet 'cos I remember where I put things! (Door keys are smaller so maybe they can't get into their houses to watch the TV).So the bottom line is it is well built, sounds good and is easy to set up. (Just get it delivered by a happy van driver)Peter B.

Brilliant!
I bought one of these for my partner who had no speakers other than the TV ones and he loved it! It was so good I then bought myself one. Very simple to install, fantastic clear sound, made the dialogue so much easier to hear. Fantastic bass if which you can turn up or down depending on what you like. We watched a sifi movie the other night and had it up loud and I could feel the vibration on the explosions etc! It gives great separation of sound, like you get with home cinema multiple speakers but all in one box which is tidy and simple to set up.It's quite big and heavy, worth checking the dimensions will work for your space. It needs to sit directly under your TV with space at the sides as well as the front. At first we put it in the shelf opening in the TV unit (a wooden box style one) but there was only a couple of inches either side of it which affected the speakers on the sides so we moved it to directly under the TV which made the TV a couple of inches higher but sound was better. Very pleased with it!
