MUSTARD Baseball Oven Mitt Glove - Brown Home Run Oven Mitt

Bought this for my former-pitcher son, who is moving into his own place after college and after living w his bball mates for a year. I don't expect him to USE it, but just be part of the decor. However, if you struggle with using this mitt, try sewing a straight line to provide that thumb pocket everyone is talking about. Just put it on, mark where you'd want the thumb, and sew (by hand or machine). I'd probably use a basting stitch until determining it is in a good position and permanently sew when fit is good.

Perfect for the baseball boys in my house! However the whole inside of the mitt is open with no separation between where your fingers and thumb should go so it can be a little bit hard to grip things but it still does the job.

It probably isn't that safe for something heavy that needs to come out of the oven, since it's pretty thin. But it's terribly cute and the print is so unique that it will put a smile on someone's face if you're buying it as a gift.

Some reviewers said it wasn't great for heat. No problem there. No separate thumb area, oh well - my BIL was able to use it just fine ;-) It's first off a conversation/fun piece. Negative reviewers - I don't expect it to be the quality of a high end store... but the quality was much better than I'd been led to believe. My BIL did comment that it's for lefties ;-). Will be awesome for barbecues with the guys!

Won't bore you with the details of why I bought this, but it had to do with a dream someone had where I have them a baseball mitt for their birthday...that being said, it keeps your hand from burning, but it isn't exactly the most comfortable or flexible over mitt i've used...works OK, but not really a serious over mitt, can be difficult to get a good hold on things like bake pans etc.

Baseball is everywhere.... Now it's in the kitchen. This was a purchase for a gift. We cook ALOT when we are not at the baseball fields. My husband will love these gloves!!! Super Fun & all His friends will be jealous!! I bought two mitts, they will be the HOMERUN at our next cookout!

I got this to go with a gift exhange gift for my family and I think it looks pretty cool! We're a baseball family, so I thought this would be a fun addition! I'm guessing it will work just fine and it looks pretty good!

Really fun and I enjoy the novelty factor but not the most practical as you don’t get a lot of movement to hold items.

This is a fun oven/BBQ glove at a very competitive price. A birthday gift for the man who has everything.

It was very cute! However the picture makes it appear to have more detail and there is no thumb hole making it impractical for actual use moving hot things. Ours is hung as a decoration and looks cool on the wall.
