where is this saw made?

I received this #2011201 saw today. No longer called “Marathon”, just Irwin. Build date of 04.09.18. Teeth are actually heat treated - an asset not even mentioned by Irwin and, ironically, the saw sleeve has 6 pictures that all show non-heat treated teeth... Saw sleeve has a copyright of 2016 and states: “Blade and Assembly Made in Denmark. Handle Made in Italy.” I assume they mean: Blade Made in Denmark. Assembled in Denmark. Irwin needs to update to their product’s details both here on Amazon and their own website. Saw is super sharp and the grip is very nice.

What is the blade number? Thanks.

The blade is too old and worn to find much on it. There are two sets of numbers that seem to be dates (from 2014 & 2015) and one other number: LAK 2

Will it hand cut fire wood?

I use it to cut through thick bones for my dogs. Wood is no problem.

How many teeth per inch?

12 teeth per inch. It's considered coarse but it leaves a smooth finish. Very happy with mine.
