These are amazing. They are light and crispy, have great flavor and are not too salty. If I didn’t know better, I wouldn’t guess that they were protein fortified. I know they are expensive, but they are worth it for a chip craving and staying on track with my healthier eating. Although not great for the environment, I also like that they are individually bagged for portion control.

I first tried Quest tortilla style chips years ago when on a low carb diet and didn’t like how dry they seemed. I know that sounds strange since chips are dry but it was just different from what I was used to with regular chips, maybe because there is a lot less fat in these or something. Fast forward to the present when I have diabetes and had to give up regular chips since they would spike my blood sugar. I tried the Quest chips again and started out having them with dip to take care of the dryness. I eat them slowly and find the 1.1 oz bag satisfying. These have really helped take care of my chip cravings when I get them. I saw the Ranch flavor the other day in the grocery store and had to try them. I had only had the cheese flavor and chili lime flavor that come in the box my husband gets at Sam’s. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I opened up that bag of Quest Ranch flavored chips and tried them. I finished the bag in the car they were so good. No dip necessary and I’ve actually gotten so I eat the cheese flavored ones without dip. I think I’m used to them now after not having regular chips for months. I love that they have 19 grams of protein and only 4 grams of carbs, of course. Now that I’m trying to be more conscious about avoiding seed oils, I hate seeing “sunflower, canola and/or soybean oil” on their ingredient list but, unfortunately, this is common with processed foods in this country. I ordered the box of Ranch flavored off Amazon and got them today. I’ll just have to try not to eat them daily.

Out of this, sweet chili, and taco. This is my favorite. it tastes like white cheddar to me. The sweet chili was too tangy and spicy. The taco has a good flavor, but the aftertaste is bleh. Maybe my taste buds are funky.

If you’re on a weight loss journey or if you’re just looking for a healthy alternative to a guilty pleasure of binging on a bag of Doritos, THESE ARE IT! I’ve been buying these for a couple years now and they never disappoint. I was expecting a bland flavor initially but they are full of flavor! I’ve tried them all but Ranch & Sweet Chili are my personal favorites. But they’re all good. They aren’t as crisp or crunchy as Doritos or a regular tortilla chip. They don’t hold up well if you’re using with a chunky salsa or thick dip. But that doesn’t bother me. The flavor is so good, you don't need a dip. And packed with protein! I highly recommend!

These are very delicious and very low in carbs. If I could make one change, I would eliminate the onion powder in the recipe. It is a bit too strong in taste and just overwhelms all the other flavors.
