Good thread for the bobbin
I have been using Superior Bottomline thread for years in my APQS longarm quilting machine. It is strong and hardly ever breaks. They also offer a large selection of colors. It also works well with any top thread that I have tried.

Hands down absolute best thread for scores of reasons!
This is about the only thread I ever want to use for most purposes in my quilting. First and most importantly it produces zero lint! When I use any other thread I am always astounded by the volume of lint and the frequency I have to clean my thread race and bobbin assembly. Other threads feel like string to me now! This thread also makes the absolute finest, flattest seams. Who knew what a difference that would feel like?! No other thread gives a seam this flat. And forget that old school trope about how polyester thread will cut your fabric! Has that ever really happened to you? It never has for me and my quilts have been seen and handled by hundreds of people in shows all over the country. You can test this simply with a pull test. How hard must you pull to break this thread compared to breaking the same size cotton thread? And of course it is designed for bobbins so you can load your bobbin with at least 50% more thread and stitch away longer.Probably my favorite use is for needle turn appliqué. The thread has the slightest twist that gives it just a bit of grab and prevents the ends from slipping out of their hiding places. It is also less shiny than silk and so doesn’t show as easily. I have also used 100 wt silk extensively but the ends slip out more easily and it shows more because of the sheen if you are not meticulous.Bottom line? Bottom Line is the best!! for lots and lots of reasons.

Why didn't I buy this sooner?!?!
Why didn't I start using this 10,000 hexies ago?!?!?! I've always thought 'thread was thread' - so just used the cheapest available from the big box store for thread basting. Then, a few EPP groups on FB kept going on about this Superior Bottom Weight Thread and how awesome it was for EPP. So, I decided to give it a shot. Its like a difference of night and day!! This thread glides soooooo smoothly, doesn't tangle, rarely ever breaks (I may have tugged a bit too hard a couple times), and is hard to see my stitches when whip stitching hexies together!!All in all, this was a game changer for me and how quickly I baste and whip stitch my Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Cros2 together!!! Love it!!

This bobbin thread works real well on my Brother embroidery machine.
This is the third time I order this thread for my embroidery projects. I wind my bobbins myself, because it's cheaper than prewound bobbins. This thread is strong and nice and thin, and it has never given me any problems. I have a Brother NQ1600

Excellent for English paper piecing
Compare this thin delicate near invisible fine thread to double embroidery floss! The second picture is of the right side of the hexagon flower—it disappears! Yes, buy it for English paper piecing, don’t buy it for regular sewing projects—it’s too fine! It might be great for sewing 3D ornaments or details on stuffed animal toys where thread needs to disappear. This is not for every project! I’ll buy it in navy/black too. It’s worth the price because it’s sturdy and there’s so much of it. I’m using white and it looks great on colored fabric too.

Great quality thread -- perfect for a fine bobbin thread.
Love this thread -- I am going to order it in more colours. It makes a great bobbin thread in my sewing machine -- It is very fine but very strong. I am a quilter, and I highly recommend this to quilters and sewists.
