Frontier Co-op Mexican Fiesta Seasoning, 2.12-Ounce Jar, Chilis, Tomato & Cumin, Hint Of Lemon & Cilantro, Kosher, Non ETO

I'm trying to go reduce my salt intake, and this salt-free spice has been saving my food from blandness until my taste buds adjust! I don't use it to make Mexican dishes, I just use it on anything that I think would benefit from a little kick of heat, in lieu of salt.I used to be an enthusiastic home chef with an extensive spice collection. But I've found that no longer makes sense when you're only cooking for one or two people. You can't use up much of the spices before they lose their potency if you're not cooking for a lot of people. Good spices are expensive, so it's not worth it. Instead, I now have pared my collection down to a few seasoning mixtures, and this is now one of them. If a recipe calls for something spicy like cayenne pepper or a Creole seasoning mix I'll just sub in a little of this. This substitution wouldn't work for every recipe, but it works for many.

What can I say when you are on a liquid diet you will try anything to have a change of flavor. This morning was the first time I tried it in scrambled eggs for my son who pushes them through a syringe. He loved it and I'll be using it whenever he wants me to. Originally purchased for tamales but due to how much time it takes to make them I might skip that project.

Who could possibly cook without Mexican Seasonings?? Surely, not me!! Simply delicious! Buy this! Thank you.

Delicious and one of my favorite new seasonings....I deducted 1 star because the seasoning spout requires so much shaking to get just a bit of seasoning out (it's a poor design), I took the spout off of one of my other seasonings and replaced it and now it's perfect.

This is a rather tasty seasoning. It can be used on about anything you want to taste Mexican. It is much better than the Andrew Zimmern labeled seasong.

Purchased this item for to add additional flavor to my cooking - it fell short on flavor - had to add large amounts of this spice combo to get some flavor from it - little disappointing
