Black Iron Oxide - Fe3O4 - Synthetic - 5 Pounds

This is about the greatest Fe3O4 I've used and yet the price is SPECTACULAR. You won't find it any cheaper than here.

Perfect product for the applications needed for. The packaging seal however is lacking and allows for the stuff to escape the bag making cleanup a nightmare if an accidental tipping of the bag occurs. Be prepared to use a 2 gallon ziplock bag to do the job that the original packaging should have done.

The manufacturer packaging of this item had a tear in it. This caused the iron oxide to seep out and get all over the inside of the box, all over the outside of the box, on my hands, and on the kitchen table. I carefully transferred the package to a plastic garbage bag and threw it out. There was no way we would try to use this item since doing so would just create more problems. And BTW, it is very difficult cleaning up iron oxide powder. Amazon was very good about refunding the purchase price wihout making me return it. I have no idea how well the product works as it currently rests in landfill.
