Best and most comfortable stabilizer ever! My carpometacarpal joint (at wrist to thumb) is degenerating and my wrist absolutely kills me! Couldn't even sleep comfortably--until buying this splint. I have other orthopedic splints, but they all wrap directly on my wrist which is painful. This awesome thing has individual supports on both sides of the thumb/wrist--ZERO pain! I also love that the thumb has its own wrap so I can loosen it, and it allows total hand support while keeping wrist-to-thumb from twisting. Bought first a couple of months ago; bought second recently for outside wear. THANK YOU!!!!

Heaven sent! I recently developed RA. My hands have been giving me the most trouble. Immediately, after putting the stabilizer on, my felt better. It is comfortable and gives perfect compression. My hand is not getting hot. So, this has very good breathability. Great product at a great price

This actually was a life saver. The arthritic pain in thumb was unbearable so I thought I'd give this a try. It's pretty flexible so my first thought was it's not going to work. To my surprise it really does hold the thumb in place and keeps it straight when working. I used it every day and while sleeping too for 2 weeks. Pain is gone. Now I use it just for work. Holding up well for the price. Small amount of wear and tear after 3 months of use

Helping with my CMC pain and trigger thumb issues. Weat it on bike rides and when working in yard or on the car. Solid and supportive. It's comfortable and adjustable. I wear xl gloves and it fits me easy.

Not a good item it should go further down the wrist to help stabilize the thumb more. The piece that goes around the thumb is thin and doesn’t last!

This has been a helpful product with the issues I have had with my thumb and wrist joints. It is comfortable and provides the support I need. Liked it so well I purchased 2 more.

It’s great! After washing it multiple times, the ribs inside the thumb section started to stick out, but I just tucked them in and put a Velcro patch on the area. It fits well, and the quality is amazing. I’m thinking about buying a third one! I bought two for when the other one is in the wash; I work out lifting weights with them on, so it needs a good wash when I get home. I would recommend getting a few of them, and probably will buy another!

After reading a ton of reviews on the many different thumb and wrist supports available on Amazon I decided to go with a cheap one just to try it out. I wasn't expecting such a great fit! I have tiny hands and wrists (ie I buy children's watches and my ring finger is a size 4.5). But this splint in size small/medium gives me a snug and supportive fit on both my wrist AND my thumb. Both of the velcro straps are highly adjustable and cinch up smaller than i anticipated. The hard plastic support strips inside the fabric on either side of the thumb can be easily bent to contour where needed providing even more firm support. The fabric on the inside is soft and comfortable, not itchy at all. It kind of looks/feels like a slightly stretchy cross between foam and felt with ventilation holes. Significantly reduces the pain in my lower thumb joint and the wrist bone/joimg directly below it. Immobilizes my thumb enough to provide good pain relief while still allowing me to do fairly fine motor tasks (like seed beading) with the rest of my fingers (the splint is on my non dominant hand for reference). For less than $10 this is a fantastic product. I can't speak to durability yet as I have only been wearing it a few hours. But based on initial fit, feel and quality it has already exceeded my expectations by far!

I had previously purchased the copper thumb support similar to this. But it's very flimsy. So turned out it only has 1 very bendable metal which cannot even hold the neoprene material straight. This one has 2 metal splints & really hold your thumb in this position better, which I suppose should aid in this pain issue. I just got mine yesterday.
