Nice Double Bit Axe Sheath
A quality double bit axe sheath. Well made but very stiff thick leather. I treated mine with "Fixin' Wax" from Self Reliance Outfitters to soften it up some. Nice quality snaps and well stitched and riveted. Well worth the price. I used it for a vintage Collins Double Bit Axe(10" across from bit to bit and has 4 1/2" bits) Perfect fit.

Quality made sheath
I normally don't give product reviews but I was so impressed with this one that I decided to write one. This sheath is of very high quality leather and is very well made. It's very sturdy and there's a lot of attention to detail. It was slightly big for my double-bit axe, but a little big is no problem because the axe head is fully encased by the sheath. Very satisfied.

Excellent, but figure out the fit....
Well made, heavy leather. Perfect for my Council Tool "Michigan" double bit axe (3.5lb head) but not wide enough for my new Iltis w/ a 2.5lb head. Still looking for a sheath for my Iltis

Extremely durable
This is extremely high quality leather, it's very tough and will definitely take time to break in but as long as you care for it properly it will last a lifetime.The sheath measurements are spot on, about an inch too long for my axe but it is still good enough.Definitely would buy again but I doubt I'll need to.

Heavy duty
I got this for an old Kelley Works double bit that I restored. This is a beefy leather sheath that fit well and should offer protection for many years to come. Its stiff so I rubbed it down with a couple of applications of vasoline which help quite a bit. This should fit a much larger double bit than the one I have. Peace

Well made and fits my axe perfectly.
This is a nice scabbard for a double bit axe, well made and fits perfectly. I just need to oil and wax it to protect the leather from moisture. Probably have to do this a couple times a year and it should last forever. I consider this normal maintenance to protect good leather.

Quality Product
Good fit, good quality. Buy without hesitation. I bought a double headed axe from Amazon and wanted to be able to carry it inside my vehicle without accidentally scuffing or cutting other items or my vehicle’s interior.This cover does the trick. Thick leather, strong rivets. Quality product.
