Essential for outdoor recording
Even the lightest breeze will add horrible noises to an audio recording, so some sort of wind protection is essential. This does the job at an agreeable price.

Bought for a hanging mic used on an outdoor wedding ceremony, worked perfectly, acoustically transparent and did a great job of keeping the wind out.

Useless
Useless. I know it's cheap but it's also worthless. I bought it for a Zoom H1 and while it may block the wind a small bit there is barely any wind today and I can hear wind noise. Also if I move it fast indoors it "whooshes"

Deadcat mit gutem Sitz und ordentliche Funktion
Habe mir die Deadcat für Motorradaufnahmen mit einem Zoom H1n zugelegt und bin sehr zufrieden. Der Windschutz liegt gut an und erfüllt seinen Zweck zuverlässig. Der Ton wird klar aufgenommen und Windgeräusche gut ausgefiltert. Die Härchen flusen soweit auch nicht aus und ich gehe mal von einer guten Haltbarkeit aus.Alles in allem eine zuverlässige Deadcat mit ordentlicher Funktion.
