I am a bit clumsy and can injure myself easily when I’m trying to cut something. This product evil easily prevents that! It holds the item in place so that the knife does not get near my hand. Great purchase!

Unfortunately, it took three weeks (exactly) to get the order, but that has no bearing on the item itself.With the aid of a sharp knife and minimal risk, this device should help carve uniformly thin slices of just about anything less than 4" thick. Width limitations and inability to adjust slice thickness should be overcome by moving the device horizontally. In any case, obvious limitations should not prevent purchase of an inexpensive, sturdy, uncomplicated, easily stored and useful device.

This safety slicer works well, but often isn't worth using. The time it saves from not having to be as careful while cutting is lost from having to wash an extra tool. However, it does essentially eliminate the risk of accidentally cutting yourself so it is good.

Good quality product that works well and, at least for me, lowers the risk of drawing blood with a sharp knife. Just what I was looking for.

my fruit slicing guide, is very well made and easy to clean, but it does of some challenges when using it for apples at least... I had to be careful not to push the guide all the way through the apple, there wasn't room to insert the knife if inserted too far. The tines on the guide tended to splay out on the apple, making uneven cuts. Because I was hoping to core the apple then cut rounds to use in a dryer even cuts is important. In addition the apple wanted to roll away on the last few cuts, the guide wouldn't hold it steady, this made cutting unsafe. But the cut across my little finger didn't need stitches. I cut the apple in half, and put the cut side against the cutting board to provide stability. the apple still dried fine, just wasn't what I was hoping for.I could cut apple slices this well without the guide. It was somewhat frustrating.

Very nice product & I'm very pleased to have bought it as when I used it, it was very firm in holding tomatoes & also tried it actually on a lemon & made perfect slices & I laughed out of sheer joy. Very easy to clean too! I would highly recommend this product to anybody.
