AheadPractice Pad (ASST2)

My son is taller than an average person and until we found this product it was impossible for him to practice drum exercises using just a stand with no object put below it in order to obtain a proper height of the exercise board. Well, with this stand it is possible at its highest settings. He has it only a few months so far and did not take it for his summer travels. However, it is stable and survives not only use daily but also weekly packing and taking it to practice sessions at school.

Being snare pads on an e-drum set are thinner than acoustics (with the exception of a piccolo snare). I needed a stand to raise higher then the two acoustic snare stands that I own. This one fit the application with room to spare and with greater floor area contact too. Now I can raise my seat higher to match snare height. Recommend..

Very nice chrome. Looks just like the photo on the website. All parts are metal except for the black twist handle that snugs up the three arms that hold the drum. I put a 12 inch practice pad on it and it holds it securely. I was able to position it so that it is level also, which is how I typically use it. I am pleased with it.

Bought this for my grandson so he can practice in his dorm room. He says it's perfect. He was looking for a specific height because he's over six feet. He reports that this snare stand measures up to all his specifications, so I'll have to go with five stars. If he's happy, I'm delirious!.

Don't buy an expensive "high" snare stand for a drum pad. This works great and the price is perfect.
