Highly insightful and impactful
This book is phenomenal. There's an optional 10-week practice in here that I highly recommend, and whether you do the process or not, the text is transformational. The impact of this text is subtly and noticeably impactful, and I'm on my second read through right now.

A How-to manual on becoming more present and conscious
It's very difficult writing a snappy review about a book that can help transform your life, particularly when every other review says about the same thing and I'd love to give you something different to consider when debating whether you should buy this book.I agree with the other review that says this book isn't for sissies. So, who is this book for? People who are looking for a how-to manual on becoming more present to themselves (and the world), people who are open-minded and even eager to learn more about what's really going on inside themselves, people who are committed to taking the necessary time and attention for transformation, people who are ready to change.What will those people find and experience? Lots of text that lays out simple yet profound concepts and a 10-week experiential process to follow that moves the readers more deeply into themselves. The author recommends repeating this 10-week process 2 times, and I highly agree - more will be revealed and felt with the repetition. Readers who follow the process (morning and evening breathing sessions lasting 15 minutes each, reading a handful of pages each day, and affirming a conscious response as often as remembered) will find that they "get better at feeling" rather than insisting they feel better, as the author frequently asserts is the goal.What might they dislike? Frequent repetition, but they will likely get something different and deeper with each round. Plays on words - most of which I found annoying (such as "blame" tied to "be-lame") and some mildly useful (such as "emotion" tied to "energy in motion.")What might they like? A more tangible way to find stillness (read: easier way to meditate), a manageable and concrete process to increase present moment awareness, an approach that is extremely flexible for the various levels of readers' readiness, a dramatic increase in compassion, understanding, and peace.Finally, if you believe in intuition or the Universe giving you nudges to support you on your path - buy this book! You will be amazed at how the Universe will support your growth as you move through this process. Stay with it - you will get better at feeling. You will find peace.Namaste.

Are you looking for a way to really change your life? If so this book can be your best friend. It has been said many times by honest honorable individuals that change MUST come from within and not through a guru. This book provide's for your change and clearing within by working on your self. Michael Brown walks you through 10 specific, 1 week sessions. This book is the real deal.9/24/17I really avoided saying what i thought would turn off potential buyers. Here is a continuation of how this book can assist one in their spiritual path, whatever that may be at this time. The most important understanding that all will eventually learn is that a Bit of GOD is within everyone, no matter whether your religious or not. This indweller has many names but that really doesn't matter, what matters is that we all should want to speak to him/her directly and for that our mind/ego voice must be still. This indweller is always working; however, only unknown to us & in the background and only commences by direct communication when the mind/ego voice is quiet. After we have cleaned up or lives while on Earth, if we're fortunate and work hard while on our path of discovery, there is direct communication. We need to let go of our belief structure and judgements and clear our body of current and long ago held emotions. This is where this particular book comes to the front of the class. His 10 week lessons work through what is called " connective breathing". This 10 week work will serve to start the process of quieting the monkey mind and start the process of releasing a lifetime of old and current emotions. This book isn't the only work one needs to utilize on their path but is really a big, big help. Once you master being "Present" your in what I call the NOW. You don't dwell in the PAST or the FUTURE but NOW! One can only effect change in the NOW. So, realize this book presents the guided opportunity to start or even continue the process of making contact with what I call the Indweller, GOD Fragment, the DIVINE Within etc. Your never to young or old to start the process right now for we all have a lifetime on this Planet called Earth and there is no time like NOW.
