BaBylissPRO Slide-On Diffuser Attachment for Hair Dryer - for Volare or Portofino Hair Dryer ONLY, BABDF1, Black

This diffuser is about 4 inches across, and would have worked beautifully with the hair dryer for which it was intended, but it didn't fit on my current hair dryer. (I ordered this diffuser with the correct hair dryer, and it fits perfectly, but I couldn't keep that hair dryer because it weighs over 2 pounds and was too heavy for me, so I returned the dryer and the diffuser.) The diffuser is a high-quality product, and is a nice accessory to the specific hair dryer.

I never knew what this was for until my hairdresser used to dry my hair which distributes air with a soft flow and asa result, the hair is extra full , soft and shiny. I made sure this attachment was the one designed for the hair dryer.A perfect fit. Highly Recommend !

Good product, just didn't fit my specific model (Ceramix Xtreme). Definitely intended for smaller dryers

Back in 2017 or thereabouts, I had fairly short hair and bought the Volare from a local big box beauty store. It's not until now (2023) that I feel a diffuser would be useful. Imagine my delight to find this one specific to my dryer model! Unfortunately, while it does go onto the nozzle in a reasonable way, it won't stay put. During my first and only experience with it, it kept popping off the dryer, even though I was trying to be careful and not move things around much. When I examined it afterwards (with my hair only half dry, waah) it is only overlapping the end of the dryer nozzle by about 2 millimeters, which is not enough to make it secure. Sadly, a fail. Might treat myself to a Dyson Airwrap to get over the disappointment!

I was hesitant to buy this because so many people said it did not actually fit their dryers. I have the Portofino dryer and it fits just fine. I use it often.

When I purchased this, it said that it was an often returned item. You do have to make sure you have the proper Bablyss dryer for it to fit. Unfortunately, diffusers are not universal. This fit my dryer however, I took one star off because I found it a bit hard to attach it. It’s not a major issue, but I wish it wasn’t quite as tight. That being said, it also doesn’t come off when using, so perhaps I’m being a bit picky on this one. Overall, it works well and fits my Babyliss model.

Lightweight, attaches easily, and diffuses the heat evenly and beautifully. Definitely double check and make sure you have the correct type of dryer for it. The only and minor con, is that for storage it is a bit large (but honestly not a complaint because it's excellent coverage when using on your hair) So you do have to remove it from your dryer before storing it all away. I imagine for travel it might be a bit bulky. But I absolutely love the product. Works excellent and that's the most important thing!

I got this for the Babybliss blow dryer. It does have a "plastic" smell when it gets warm. It works to keep friz to a minimum.
