Great product, my dog frequently suffers with mild uti i got this product before Christmas as I couldn't get in to the vets I thought, there's no harm trying ,i seen the difference in her after 2 days she wasn't frequently weeing,stopped weeing in the house,no smell i did a ph test before and after and you could see the change in her ph levels straight away, we're on to the second box ,she hasn't needed the vets since this protexin, so hopefully I found something that really helps her ,value for money and stress, I normally take the powder out of capsule and pop it in her yogurt and peanut butter every morning she's great that way as she's only small jack Russell and capsule are quite big but very effective

These actually work, no side effects worked after a few days - no need to visit the VETsgreat item, great value for money would recommend

Bought for my dogs' cystitis. They have worked very well in clearing it up and saved another trip to the vet.They are expensive, but cheaper than the vet so I will keep some in the dogs' medicine cupboard in case needed in the future.I have changed her food and so far that has worked well in keeping her free from cystitis.

Got these just to help boost whatever medication the vet would give for my husky uti which was really bad he could barely even pee I got these the day before the vets appointment gave him two capsules by already saw an improvement by the time I woke the next day and by the time I got to the vets it's like he never had anything wrong with his bladder I'm fully blown away how well these have done better than anything the vet has given me.

My dog had typical symptoms of a UTI, dripping urine, frequent squatting to attempt to pee but not much pee coming out, having accidents at home, and I am also pretty sure there was blood coming out from his penis on at least two occasions.I know doctors usually prescribe antibiotics for this however we've been waiting for a vet's appointment for a month so in the meantime, since the symptoms have not been improving, I managed to buy some urine tests online and then find this product - after the urine test showed a quite high Ph level as well as 500+ leukocytes in urine (the last, bottom square that is purple before and white after treatment was leukocytes levels v- the dark green square in the middle indicating Ph then changed to orange after treatment indicating lower, better, Ph level now).My dog is only 8kg so he only had one capsule every morning. I also added water to his food, and added around half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to his breakfast and dinner for the first 5 days (then only half a teaspoon for breakfast), also went out for short walks more frequently, for my dog to pee and flush it all out without holding it in for too long.In a week (just days day before our vet's appointment) we repeated the urine test and it showed everything cleared up. As you can imagine we had a very pleasant visit at the vet, he listened to us, examined every little detail, and said it all looks good now. We were told there is no need for any further treatment or diagnostics.I would highly recommend this product for at least trying out for a week before attempting more serious, antibiotic treatment. Of course, keep in mind all dogs are different, every organism will react differently, etc.I am still planning on finishing the pack of 30 just to be safe that it doesn't come back. I am really impressed!The delivery was so quick also, I did a test on Wednesday afternoon and on Thursday morning I already had the capsules delivered. When it comes to the flavour - my dog is only 7 months old, and having to swallow a capsule was a completely new experience for him but he didn't seem to mind the flavour. I wouldn't say he liked it, but when mixed with food he'd just swallow it.

My cat won't eat this. I sprinkled it onto her food but she wouldn't eat it. In my opinion it is too big to give it to her in whole. Unfortunately I have no idea how effective these capsules are.

I was obviously very skeptical to buy these rather than going to the vets as everywhere it says you absolutely NEED antibiotics to cure a UTI.These arrived Friday, it is now the following Tuesday.My 12 week old shihpoo pup had a water infection (squatting multiple times after actually urinating with either nothing coming out or just a few drops and squatted like this probably every minute throughout the whole day).Day 5 of using 1 capsule in her breakfast and she’s no longer squatting unnecessarily and weeing as she usually would be.No nasty side effects even with her being so small and a puppy.She has no history of bladder issues and I wasn’t using this as a supplement, I was using this solely as a cure and it’s worked brilliantly.I wouldn’t think twice about buying this product if your pup is having urinary issues. I didn’t take her to the vets as if I’m honest, I couldn’t afford to.These capsules have saved me from paying a couple of hundred pounds.Just open the capsule (which is very easy) and sprinkle on food, she has no idea she’s taking medication and she’s back to normal in under a week.I will finish the box as you can use these as a preventative/supplement rather than a cure also and see how she gets on when she’s stopped taking them, if it reoccurs, I will be repurchasing straight away.

My cat was getting UTIs every couple of months. It was horrible to see her struggling and in pain. The last time she went to the vet, she suggested trying this. I’ve been opening the capsule and adding the powder to a Lick-e-lix. I’ve had to play around with the amount, as she doesn’t like too much of the powder. It seems to have made a difference, she’s not been the vet for a few months. The cat associates it as a lovely treat.
