Jury still out
My wife won the first battle of recipe selection and the bird came out tasty but a bit dry. I get the next crack, using a recipe I think will be much better, fingers crossed. Love being able to order gamebirds on line.

delightful
These are absolutely delightful. I put them on my smoker for 4 hours at 250 degrees and they tasted great! One for Thanksgiving & the other one for Christmas made for a great Holiday season...in such weird times. ENJOY

Whole pheasants-farm raised
Growing up in Minnesota we went pheasant hunting every fall. Wild pheasant is very "gamey" but these were farm raised and so didn't have the wild gamey flavor. Recommended for those who aren't familiar with the wild type. Great with Minnesota wild rice.

The bird was very clean. The way it's raised provide juice meat. Keep doing it your way. No GMO or Steroids!!!
