This particular "stepper" was purchased because we wanted some security in having a wider base to step up and down on. It has proven to be what we hoped. Being in our 60's we were simply looking for safety over anything else and we feel we've found it in this wider stepper. Basically, this product is doing the job we expected - it is stable when stepped on and off of and it is easily adjustable for whomever is using it. Though it took awhile to arrive (not the typical two-day delivery) we have no complaints and look forward to the long-time use of this product.

I like everything about this step except that the black non-slip mat is poorly-adhered. As at least one other reviewer stated, the mat was peeling up around the edges straight out of the box upon arrival. We've tried using SuperGlue and GorillaGlue to stick it back down, but in places it continues to peel up from the hard plastic of the step.

This is very well made and sturdy. To be honest, I bought it to be used as a step between my house and the garage until our builder could get one made. I would not hesitate to purchase it for step workouts. It worked perfectly!
