Woman Thou Art Loosed! 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition: Healing the Wounds of the Past

This book written by Thomas Dexter Jakes is an incredible read. He teaches us to lean in towards the Holy Ghost and shares many tools in how to overcome fear, grief and abuse! This man is being used in a MIGHTY way for God! If you haven't had a chance to listen also to his daughter Sarah Jakes Roberts she's a must watch! Their ministry is touching hearts and leading people to the Lord. His book the crushing is also INCREDIBLE! I TRULY recommend ANY read or listen coming from this ministry! Praise God for this amazing book!

This book is incredible. It is marked up and highlighted and underlined and words scribbled on the side of most pages because this book holds so much freedom and power. I’ve been through a lot and have lived in that pain for far too long and this book is better than any therapy I’ve ever received because it’s me and God. My prayer life has never been stronger. I’m only halfway through the book, but I already feel so free and empowered as a woman and I have learned more than I could’ve ever imagined I would learn from this books. If you’re struggling with your past and past pain or any abuse in your past I highly, highly, recommend this book. I also recommend doing it alongside the “Woman thou art Healed and Whole: a 90 day devotional”. The devotional has been just as powerful to me and has been a great add on to the “Woman Thou Art Loosed!” book. Highly recommend.

This is a great book. It is apparent that the wisdom and insight that Bishop Jakes shares is heaven-sent. Every time I ask myself, "how does he know this stuff about me?" The Holy Spirit whispers to my spirit that He (the Holy Spirit) revealed it to Bishop Jakes. This is what makes it authentic, relatable, and applicable.

I consider TD Jakes my pastor of over 25 yrs- and I am Catholic. His Women series helped support my pathway of healing and life. However; this book is poorly written and does not in any way match the dynamic of his preaching. But I still love TD - he’s the real deal. Bless u- my sacred brother.

I got this book because I needed guidance for healing after a toxic relationship and childhood and I must say it is amazing. He gives great guidance and words from God to help you get through and start the healing process

Great book. Seems a bit repetitive but good otherwise.

I don't write many reviews but I feel the need to write one for this book. This book came to me at a time in my life when I really needed it. I feel that God led me here to find something that is truly going to feed my soul. If you are a woman searching for something I highly recommend this book by T. D. Jakes. I haven't completely finished it, (on chapter 12) but I feel a huge difference already in my life. There were many times when I felt like he was speaking to me and I feel like that many women will probably feel that way. I love to see God working in my life and hope many other women's lives also. I am a Christian that had backslid to what I thought was almost to the point of no return. This book reminded me that God is always there all I have to do is call out his name.

A great King James Version of the BIBLE with additional Essays and Prayers by the Rev. T.D. Jakes. Also additional guidance and wisdom for anyone who reads this Bible. I had a previous copy which I purchased the year it was published. I read it so much I wore it out. I am on my second copy now. The previous copy was hard back and the copy one is hard back. I wanted another hard back copy to give as a gift. Amazon i is trying to find me a hard back.

Amazing book, purchased it for my big sister and sneeked a peek whilst waiting for her to visit. This book is a must for every woman, it is sensitive, direct, patient, encouraging and in the word of my big sis 'healing'. From a family blessed with many females this book is like a box of the best branded tissues impregnated with balm, that just keeps on giving, soothing and leading you closer to God.Go buy the book for a friend, family member, work colleague and let them know that they have a friend in Jesus and spiritual healing is here.(Would not recommend this book for a male)

Bought fir a book club which starts next week so haven’t read it yet but the book arrived in excellent condition. Looking firwardctovreading it.
