Cliffhopper Sports Multipurpose Balaclava - Ski Mask for Men and Women

3-25-16 That was easy: I bought Cliffhopper balaclava ski masks for two of my "outdoor" friends and they were snatched up by one! I liked the compact design of the masks as soon as I saw them and realized my friends would be able to take them along anywhere. Even though they are designed for all sizes, they are so small when folded they can fit anywhere. When I showed them to one friend, he said, "We can use these" and told me about an excursion he planned with his girlfriend. When he showed the masks to his girlfriend, she immediately said, "We can use these," too and thought about the same trip. The quality of the two masks looked identical. The seams were flat and well-made. I received them a day earlier than scheduled, in time for use in our brisk March winds. Very impressive. I have had other Balaclavas highly rated on Amazon from past years but this one solves one major issue...moisture that builds up at the mouth area. This lack of major moisture build up therefore helps keep my ski google from fogging up for a very long time. I used this in about 20 degrees F and did find that my nose got cold after a while from the wind. So I need to find a solution for that now - perhaps googles with a nose guard/warmer. Great product!

I have used this mask on some pretty long motorcycle trips ( 6 hour clips on a ride) It works well. keeps my long hair from being knotted up and protects my face from the wind and road dirt. The only issue I would have is the sensitive area under my eyes gets puffy from the pressure of the hem. I would recommend this mask highly, especially in the cold weather, under the helmet its a real head warmer.

Let's you breathe while keeping the chill and wind off your face! Spent a 4 day weekend snowboarding with this and especially in the evenings, this was fantastic protection. During the day when conditions were a little warmer, I easily modified it to have more of an open face - it stretches and re-shapes very easy.

Thought it might be a little thicker. If you hold it up you can see light through it. The size of it was a perfect fit though. I like all the ways you can use it. Just wish it was thicker.

My glasses still fog up and it is kind of hard to keep up over my nose and ears with the top down, but overall I like it. I don't think it would work too good when the temperature drops much below 30ish.

I like this balaclava a lot. It is soft, not scratchy, and doesn't catch my whiskers. I wanted something light weight and very pack able, and this has filled all my requirments and at a fair price.

I ordered this mask based on other reviews to walk my dog in subzero (-30F!!) temperatures. IT IS AMAZING! It is thin and comfortable, but keeps my face and neck warm and it's easy to put a stocking cap and hood over it. It is also very versatile and can be worn in many different positions.
