52 Hebrew Words Every Christian Should Know

I received this book the day after I ordered it. I like that the book is small and more portable (not pocket sized) as I tend to keep smaller books with me to read to keep me from grabbing my phone. Cover is not leather, but is very nicely decorated, attractive and feels good to the touch. It has a ribbon book mark that matches the cover and is a lovely practical touch. The pictures are nice and while the font is a bit on the small side (remember is is a smaller book) it is still easy to read. Pages seem to be good quality and take ink and highlighter well. The author has a style of writing that I enjoy and the definitions have made a difference in the way I read scripture. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to enrich their Bible study.

It should be clear that this is not a dictionary. This is more of a semi-devotional book of 52 Hebrew Words and phrases as they relate to Christian devotions. The book gives an intentionally sort of "old" feel to it but the pages are very high quality paper and includes in depth descriptions of each word and phrase as to how they relate to a Christian's walk with God. It's rather fascinating too especially when you see words the average person unfamiliar with Hebrew would not expect to be a Hebrew word.

Given/received as a gift and ended up being pleasantly surprised. This book dives further into the etymology of the words than expected. The depth of explanation for each word and its meaning is so detailed as to nearly make this a page-turner!

This is one of those devotionals where you actually get something from it; it's not just fluff. I wish there were way more words. But the amount of depth and understanding my family is getting makes even just 52 days worth more than reasonable for the price. The gold splayed edges with the high quality full color print, and the PU Leather cover make the book feel even more special. I can not recommend this enough.

The cover is beautiful and I’m enjoying learning the Hebrew but the commentary is a bit on the fluffy side. Can’t beat it for the price but as the author says, it’s not meant to be deep. Not a direct quote.

I started following Dave Adamson on InstaGram after I saw him on the YouVersion Bible App. He has an easy way of articulating scripture in a way that really made me want to dig deeper. I ordered 52 Hebrew Words Every Christian Should Know and I am so glad I did. The book is beautiful with relatable short stories connected to the Hebrew word. Stunning photographs add a visual component as well.I definitely recommend this book and plan to buys copies as gifts for friends and family.

Beautiful little book with powerful information to help us understand the original meaning of words in the Bible. Very enlightening. Great gift item too.
