Hours of pool fun
I fancy myself a bit of a pool float connoisseur at this point. I live in a climate that we have 12 months of pool weather and I have a very active 8 and 11 year old that use the pool almost daily. Our floats get very heavy usage with anywhere from my two kids to upwards of 10 kids at a time. We had a giant round raft for several years that we loved that held up great that they no longer manufacture. We have tried a number of different rafts to replace the first one with terrible results and many amazon returns after instant deflating, etc....Then I saw the Ice Cube and decided to try it. I have waited several weeks to write my review to see watch the durability. The fun factor was off the charts from the first usage. My children are strong swimmers which I think makes a difference. This is definitely a work out. It is constantly moving and turning and the kids love to dive through from top to bottom and climb back in and use it like a hamster wheel. They fight to pull each other out of it. They put my husband in and laugh and laugh as they try and oust him from the cube, they have yet to get him out. This is the best family fun money can buy. We have had the cube for about three weeks now and so far so good. It has not lost any air and we have kids and adults alike bouncing off of the sides, dragging it on the pool deck (even with me telling them not to) and living on this through spring break. In fact as I am writing this I realize when I finish I will log on and order a couple more for future use. LOVE IT.I will say to the other comments it does take quite a while to inflate in comparison to some other rafts even with an electric pump. All of the nozzels are the smallest size and so they don't allow for very fast air flow but since we haven't lost any air this is a one time detail.

An absolute blast!
We bought the Ice Cube early this past summer and have thoroughly enjoyed it all summer long. Our grandkids have had a blast in it and even the adults have gotten in the act.We found it to be very durable, in addition to being a lot of fun.It does take a LOT to blow this thing up. I couldn't find a pump that would work efficiently with it, so we used a lot of lung power to blow this up. Once blown up, it hold air well - we had to "top it off" mainly after particularly active play in it or perhaps every week or so.We were careful to play with it only in the water - I think you could easily get a leak if you let kids play in it on the pool deck or elsewhere on land. One word of caution - the Ice Cube is REALLY big. Had we blown it up in the house, we couldn't have gotten it through the doorways to get it to the pool. For this reason, it has been a little bit of a challenge to store it when not in use. We wound up keeping it in our gazebo by our pool. You ronly other choice is to deflate it between uses to get it through a doorway - I wouldn't recommend it, given how much effort is involved in inflating it.Again, it's been a great pool toy - truly unique and hours of fun.

Coolest pool inflatable I have ever seen
I bought this for my 12 year old for his birthday. I also have an 8 year old daughter. It arrive on time. Very well packaged. I used a small portable electric air compressor to inflate it. There are six sections to inflate. Only took about 20 mins., but wouldn't have wanted to inflate it manually, ie lung power. Very well constructed. Seams are very solid.Kids absolutely loved it. They had some friends over and they were in it all day long. I have never seen them have so much fun with any other toy, pool or otherwise. Only problem we had was them fighting about who got to use it the most. May have to buy another one.If you have younger kids, 7-13, this is a great pool toy.Update to my review from 5/26/12 after a years worth of use. Still think this is a really cool pool toy. Kids do love it. However, with all the use, it has developed several leaks that are unable to be patched at this point. So it lasted a year. Now for the price I am sure there will be reviews expecting this toy should last a lot longer than a year. My opinion, however, is that it costs about the same amount to take your child to a water park once. This can be played with the whole summer. If it doesn't make it to the next summer, I am sure your kids will have gotten $40 worth of fun out of it. So I changed my rating for durability to 4 stars and overall to 4 stars. Kids definitely want a new one. I'll probably cave in and get them another one.

HAZZARD BEWARE!
Your child's safety is at risk with this pool toy.I bought this Ice Cube because of all the good reviews. The cube is fun until your child or children get into a situation where while tumbling in the cube where they wind up upside down with their head in the water. It is very difficult to correct yourself because all the weight is at the bottom keeping their head underwater. This happened in our pool and the girl had to be rescued and wound up swallowing a good amount of water. This was potentially hazardous and could have ended very badly. On the same day, two children were inside the cube as pictured in the photo, and were fooling around and while tumbling, one child fell on the other and one of them hurt her back and also wound up face down in the water. Adult supervision is not enough to avoid an accident from happening. Please take this revue very seriously. This toy is a danger that you do not need to have in your pool.

Fun But 2 Sides Deflated Within A Week
Amazing pool toy. Seems sturdy but ripped at the seam within a week, deflating 2 of the 6 sides. At least it still is floating/enjoyable to the kids since each side has a separate section to blow up.

Don't buy it !!
If I could give this product a 0 I would .It is extremely dangerous . I can not stress enough the importance of watching children closely . A child can easily get seriously hurt or worse get stuck and drown . Not to mention the poor quality it ripped in the seams after one summer and was impossible to repair . It's overpriced for poor quality.

Disappointed
Disappointed. Paid a lot and two sides deflated the first day of use. Holes on the seems that cannot be fixed. One side never inflated (had a hole) and the other side blew within the first 20 mins of use.
