These kind of nail clippers aren't new to me. I've used similar kinds before and they worked fine. Medium dog, cat clippers are used to clip reptile nails as well. Remember that these clippers loose there sharpness after 6 months (of regular use) and instead of sharpening the blades it is always better to buy a new one.Coming to the clippers, these were brand new and does the job done perfectly.If you're a first time user, remember to only cut a 'little' of the tip. DO NOT attempt a lot at one go. Even a little every week, (or two, if you're lazy) helps. The nail file is pretty good if you ask me. Pet's nails aren't similar to human nails, because of their claws the file shouldn't be too fine and grind away, rather it just needs to polish a bit. Let's face it, you aren't looking for aesthetics when you're cutting the pet's nails. It's more for their well being, their hygiene and for you to be able to hold them. They Pin the outer cover with a Stapler. I didn't like it 😒Any way It has a safety plate. Which protects from deep cut.Each time you cut the nail the Cutter locks automatically. (First time it got locked I was like, What is it? What I have done? I am always anxious 😂 lol)The filer with it is a disaster. Does nothing. Sand paper is a good option but you have to be very careful with the speed and paw skin.That's it. Hope this review will help you.

The nail trimmer is good, does the job well. But the filer after a few uses has gone dull. The knob on the nail cutter prevents over cutting of the nails, which is the best part of the product I guess. Travel friendly as well, as gets closed with the given screw quite well.

A very sharp nail cutter, you can even use it to cut mid-size plastic ropes. Be careful and ensure that dog is in a stationary position while cutting the nail. Watch youtube videos about nail cutting tutorials before using the same.DO NOT CUT TOO DEEP OR ELSE IT WILL START BLEEDING. Excellent quality product and worth the price.
