Easy To Use - Worked Great
Gas tank on pressure cleaner was beginning to have a crack. Used a small quantity - combined until it turned dark gray and applied it to the area. Smoothing out to make sure it stuck to the plastic tank. Worked great.

Works well and fast
Worked well and easy. I just mashed what I needed between my fingers and thumb or rolled it between my hands. The even color tells you it's done mixing. It sets up fast. Only time will tell if it stops the leak in the tank. It has initially.

Could not find the 'perfect' tank. Better alternative than buying a whole new tank.
Repaired a gas tank on my lawn tractor. Seems to hold, keeping the gas from leaking out. Will update as the summer progresses.

Use gloves
Had a dent in my motorcycle tank. Instead of pulling the dentni used this putty to fill it. It worked very well. Once I shaped it and painted it you couldn't even tell there was a dent. Good stuff. Will buy again if I need it

Holding up great!
This product saved me from completely dropping the fuel tank on an older Mustang and spending a lot more money for a complete replacement. Scuffed up the small area where a leak had developed as best I could (certainly was not shiny, clean metal at all), and smeared a small amount of this over the area. Getting the product to bond nicely took a little bit of effort, but nothing too bad. After allowing to dry for a short period of time, I filled the tank with fuel, and haven't looked back. No more leaks or odors from the fuel tank.I can't comment on long-term durability yet, but initial impression is very favorable as it's allowed me to essentially repair my existing tank vs purchasing a new one and going through the hassle of swapping it out.

saved me a pile of money
i came to my car (scion xb) one day and there was a huge puddle of gas under it. something must've come up from the road and put a small, pencil-sized hole in the tank (tank is plastic, with fiber mesh reinforcement). had enough fumes to make it to the nearby toyota service center and was told my only solution was a new, $1200 fuel tank.so i had AAA tow it to my house, and had amazon deliver a tube of JB Weld same day for less than $15. next day i was up and running again. it's been a few weeks now and i believe the repair is permanent -- no moisture or indication that the repair won't last.it's as easy to use as you'd hope and seems to work equally well. saved more than $1185, so i couldn't be happier. 2 thumbs way up.UPDATE: failed after about 5 weeks. i was convinced i had a permanent repair after 3 weeks, but my repair started to drip. my gas tank is plastic (2008 scion xb) and the repair is on the bottom. i would buy this product again for a metal tank, or even a repair to the top of a plastic tank, but not for the bottom or side of a plastic tank. bummer.i still give it 5 stars, as the company website warns it does not work on some plastic and i am sure it works well for metal tanks.
