Fantastic sound, but be sure to set it up right.
As with most hardware with accompanying software, the software truly isn't great. So, for a good setup, use the included DAC, install G Hub, disable side tone if you want, I did because hearing myself is disorienting, adjust any EQ levels you want, I gave it a bass boost, and then save those setting to the DAC.Then, uninstall G Hub. G Hub has issues, like when I'd try to max out the mic, since I can adjust that later through Voicemeeter, it refused to let me. It kept turning itself back down with no option I saw to disable automatic gain control, so you're better off saving specific things to the DAC, then uninstalling it, it's not friendly with other software. After that, you'll have a good headset which won't make adjustments on it's own magically lolMic: The SE variant does have a different mic than the classic, at least different from the classic I bought over a year ago, and it does make me sound better, so that's a nice upgrade. My voice sounds clean, and though it does pick up background noise, very sensitive, that's easy to handle with Nvidia Broadcast, or Krisp, or any number of other noise cancellation softwares. I tried the Blue Voice thing, it was horrible, so, again, software bad.Sound: Compared to other headsets I tried before buying this as a replacement for my old Pro X that broke, most miss out on the bass and other low spots, but this covers it fairly nicely. You can adjust it later too using something like Equalizer APO. I tried a Cloud III from HyperX before buying this, wanted to see what others offered, and that thing sounded so flat, even with every equalizer I could find maxed out on the bass layered on top of each other, I'm assuming they lack the hardware, but this headset certainly delivers.Build: Most of the weak points of a headset are made of metal on here with one exception, the two clips that compress the size adjustment point, they're plastic, and held together by two screws each. This is what broke my classic variant, and I am somewhat sad to see they're still made of plastic on the SE's. I plan to have my local machine shop make me some metal replacements, since Logitech doesn't even sell plastic replacements, much less metal ones. They lasted almost a year before breaking, but they're the exact same as on the SE's, so I can take the ones from the broken headset for them to use in the process of making me metal ones which I will promptly swap.Overall: I give it a 4.5, mostly because my last ones broke in the way that they did, and a whole year later, that specific part is still made of plastic. I'll make it right myself, but I really shouldn't have to, it's a weak point, and should be made of metal. Aside from that, solid product, best sounding gaming headset I've ever used.

Best headset at this price point.
This is the best headset at the 100 dollar price range. It's comfortable, structurally strong, and has a decent mic. The sound production is very nice to my ear and the choice of included ear cuffs is very nice for those of us that don't like the fake leather stuff. Please note that this is a wired headset. It does include a USB soundcard, but I don't use that specifically.I just wanted a good quality wired headset to use with my existing soundcard and I got it.

Great headset.
This headset quality is amazing. The overall feel is really nice and it isn't super massive or bulky. The sound quality is great and the Mic is also amazing.

Good Build Quality
I really like these headphones, but for whatever reason they would not work when I first got them. My computer did not recognize them as headphones until several restarts, unplugging it, re-plugging it, and being frustrated for about an hour. Could be user error, but who knows. The cables seem sturdy, and it feels very comfortable to wear. The sound quality is also very good for this price point. No other complaints other than the original setup!

For gamers & broadcasters alike
I've owned dozens of headphones over the past 20 years and have demo'd quite a few more. This review will is aimed at a more flat EQ sounding experience.Out of the box, these aren't bad. I did hours of testing & changing & adjusting EQ's to make these sound accurate. The default didn't feel accurate at all to me. I wound up going with the FPS EQ setting which provided the best natural sound for all listening experiences. Games, movies, music etc.The next thing I did was try the surround sound mode that is enabled in the Logitech G Hub software. Let me be honest and say it's absolute GARBAGE! Lmao! If you bought these headphones and have no other means of surround sound capability and that's what you got them for...return them. The surround sound in the Logitech G Hub software is unbelievably bad. Muffled, too muddy sounding, and the clarity of the content is completely lost. I turned it off immediately and went with the DTS Headphone X I had previously, which YES, do work with this headset. You have to enable it in the sound settings under the device properties. I have both Dolby Atmos (which also sound amazing with these headphones) but liked the positional spatial sound of DTS more. How does the mic sound? Unbelievably good! I love being able to hear myself since these are closed back and I didn't want to disturb my wife when the gaming action gets hot. For the EQ setting under the mic settings, I went with my own settings. Attached a pic of what I used. These work beautifully with Discord and OBS or just flatout for gaming in general. Went from Sennheiser PC360's and am quite pleased. For an all-in-one setup, these are worth it.HUGE DISCLAIMERI need to add that I probably would NOT get these if I was going to use them on a console as the software that makes them great is not supported. If you are looking for headsets for console, do a search for something that is designed from them right out of the box and save your money.
