WORKS GREAT!!! Nice crisp lines for fine detail work. Be careful though the tip is fragile and doesnt like being shoved through material.

I had no issue with breakage, even though then end is basically a needle. I downloaded the tool database and imported it into Vetric, and ran it at the recommended feed/speed/stepover.Doing an inlay, the female part came out perfect, clean and deep. For the male part, it was a bit more challenging to keep the super-thin and tall parts from chipping away. Had the best luck with hard maple.

This is a great Amana V bit! It's tiny - so, slow the feed rate way down and use a very shallow cut depth! The detail this V bit gives will amaze you!

I have had this same engraver bit for 3 years. It finally got dull enough to require replacing. For such a fine cut the original really held up. I’m confident the new one will be the same.

This is my favorite bit to use in my CNC Router. I plan to purchase additional Amana bits withSpektra Extreme Tool Life Coating. Very durable

Have never been disappointed with Amana tooling. It's a little pricey but worth it in performance.

Great quality and worked great

Finally got around to the project I ordered this bit for.Even after reading the reviews still decided to give it a try. With that information in mind, I set my feeds and speeds SUPER conservative. 150 mm/m plunge, 500 mm/m travel , doc 1.5mm. Cutting hardwood Padauk, and Cherry cutting board. About 10 minutes into the cut i paused the project to check the bit, sure enough the tip had already broken. I am not sure there are any feeds and speeds this bit would be able to handle even moderate hardwood without breaking the tip.I love Amana bits I own a boat load of them. But this one is a hard fail. Will have to try other brands to see if I can find one that will fit my needs.

Great bit. Use it almost everyday. If anyone is having trouble with it then its probably user error.

As expected it’s a good quality engraving bit, I’m using this for sign making on a CNC doing small details and works perfectlyBeen using it for two weeks now and showing no signs of going blunt yet 👍🏼
