Cleansing but soothing
Not sure why some reviews refer to it as an oil or say you have to use it on dry skin. It's a non-foaming cleansing gel. You use it like any other face wash. It seems very mild even though it contains salicylic acid. My skin usually doesn't usually tolerate a lot of cleanser + water washing but it's actually less irritated when I use this. I don't recommend it to remove makeup, but most lower pH cleansers aren't meant to, in my experience. This is great as a second cleanser after an oil or balm 1st cleanse. It's also nice if, like me, you sometimes sleep on your face and want to make sure your face is nice and clean in the a.m. I personally LOVE the scent. It's a little pine-y, light and fresh.

My favorite cleanser!
This is my favorite cleanser!! My skin feels so clean afterwards and it looks shiny as well as slightly dry (I have dry skin and it is typical for salicylic acid to dry the skin). I also do notice my acne dries out after using this cleanser. I do not use this on a daily basis because I like to alternate between different cleansers throughout the week, but this is my ultimate favoite!

Great product!
Really happy with this cleanser. I'm using it for step 2 of the Korean beauty 10 step routine, and I was happy to find a gel cleaner as I'm not a huge fan of foam cleansers. So far my face feels great using it, and I haven't had the typical skin purge from it.

Fantastic!
I LOVE this cleanser. I have dry skin that is somewhat acne prone, and I use this 2-3 times a week instead of a foaming cleanser and after using an oil cleanser. The smell is wonderful (somewhat piney and tea tree oil like,) but not strong, and leaves your skin fresh but not overly striped feeling. I do feel like it helps with any small break outs I have, but you can't expect a cleanser alone to fix your skin or acne issues - you need to find the appropriate regimen for yourself and use it along with other products. This is just about a holy grail product for me and will always be a part of my regimen!

Perfect for double-cleansing!
I bought this to double-cleanse, and because I couldn't find any face wash that didn't dry my skin out terribly (and this was recommended). Well, it smells really good, doesn't dry my skin out, and is great at getting oil off after my first cleansing step (pure mineral oil). I will keep purchasing! Note: I don't know how well it would work for getting makeup off without double-cleansing, so keep that in mind before buying.

Not meant to be used on a wet face
the product itself is good. The only thing I did not like is that you need to put it on your face while its dry before you put water on.

Great product! I know a lot of reviewers were complaining about the smell, but I like it. It smells likes fresh herbs; a very clean smell. I have contact dermatitis to coconut oil products. I read online that this is coconut oil free so I decided to try it. So far, I have not experienced any reactions. Next time, I will probably buy a bigger bottle.

Smells great, good texture
As soon as I started using this cleanser my breakouts lessened. Smells great, good texture, good price. Can be a little drying (hence why I gave 4 stars instead of 5) so I can only use it once a day. I paired it with some intense moisturizer and this cleanser has really helped my breakouts, as well as help heal any existing pimples quicker.
