I absolutely love thus powdered maple syrup powder. It taste so good. I add it to pancake mix and use it as a coating for my chicken. It's a really good mix. I also use it in place of sugar. I believe this is essentially an extremely fine ground maple sugar. But it really delivers and gives an intense maple flavor without the graininess of sugar crystals. I tend to look at this as a "finish" rather than an ingredient, because it's best value is found in adding flavor and aroma to the outside when it would be lost by mixing into whatever you are cooking. So far I've used this on smoked porks such as shoulders, ham, ribs, and bacon. But I've also used in several baked goods, the most interesting of which was a "bacon cake". The one caveat on this is to keep it dry, as like with most powders, it will absorb moisture, and then of course you've lost the purpose in having a syrup "powder". All is not lost however, as several others have noted, it can be reconstituted into maple syrup, and actually serves as a great item to take on camping trips for just that purpose.

This is so good to have on hand when the real Maple Syrup cannot be found or accessed! It tastes great!

I use Maple Syrup to sweeten my coffee and this product is worthy.

I use it to make maple breakfast sausage since adding to much regular syrup can turn the sausage into a sloppy mess. My one knock on the product is that it's not very flavor dense or concentrated. I have to use a lot of grams per pound for it to come out tasting like store bought maple sausage. Also wish it came in a resealable container. Otherwise the taste is great and my sausage comes out perfect.

OK, first, yea it's expensive... BUT I will tell YOU... you get what you pay for!!! We have used other products for the past 10 years until we came across this powder..... WOW.... We have used this Frontier powdered maple syrup with our homemade deer & pork sausage for the last couple years..... and IT IS FREAKIN AWESOME! Great maple flavor and we get a ton of compliments on the flavor from other people. We will continue buying this for our personal and definitely based on customer feedback uses.

Maple syrup is much like honey if it is on the shelf too long. Sometimes it develops crystals as the liquid evaporates. This powder form can be reconstituted and used like regular liquid maple syrup. Also, used as powder on cereals, or in baking. Having a longer shelf life in the powdered form. Frontier Herbs and Seasoning has been around a long time. I have used their catalog and resources for orders as far back as in the 1960's. Never doubting the quality of the product they sell and satisfied with the prices at which the products are sold.

I thought this item would have a full maple taste, and I could add it to my malted milk because I tasted some candies over the holidays that had malted milk balls that had maple flavoring in the malted part they were from Beekman and it was called goat poop, but it tasted fantastic One plus is that you can make maple syrup out of this powder. Good for a survival kit.

I won't be buying thing product again, it tasted nothing like maple syrup £20 is a lot of money for a bad quality product. I'll be buying the real thing next time :(
