Good BASIC OVERVIEW of the material. Experienced Security professionals will not gain much enlightenment from this book but very good for beginners.

You get a better overview from reading the ISO 27001 standards. The book basically says things like "gather a team" and some basic things you would know from being a project manager. I found no value in it.

This book is great for CISO's and CIO's to get a great oversight/overview of RM / ISMS and ISO27001/2. It is also a good starting place for those reading and reviewing for Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor ISO courses or background. Handy little book of knowledge and the 27001 framework!

Was expecting it to be a proper guide on ISO 27001. This is a reference kind of book which can be useful for someone totally new to ISO 27001 and gives you a basic understanding on what's this all about.

I got the earlier edition a few years ago as it’s a very useful book. Wanted an upto date book aligned to the new standard but this is still aligned to 2005.....
