After reading the reviews of the product I decided to buy it anyway. I am just toying with leather work and would rather spend a small amount of money to try with. When I took the pony out of the box I was pleasantly surprised. The pony, yes, could have been of better wood but it seems all together, the adjustments are properly placed. The hardware is all there and properly aligned, the tightening mechanism on the outside was set correctly.My opinion of the tool set is it is inexpensively built and the one other part I needed was the leather punches. I fear, after trying the 1, 4 and 6 tine, they would have a hard time cutting through jello, let alone leather. The rest of the kit is well worth the cost for a novice.

Going to try to glue it together. Base was cracked when it came. Other then that it’s seams like it will work.
