Cut to size. Works Perfect

This trim was well finished, well packaged, and arrived without damage. It was easy to install. However, my door would not close because this one was not bent a full 90 degrees along the entire length and stuck down too far on one end. That caused interfered with the door sill plate and damaged both the seal and plate. To be more precise, the extrusion was not consistent from one end to the other. On one end, it was a nice 90 degree "L" bend but the other, the bend was more like 95 degrees - that 1/8" difference is a big problem when you're sealing a gap that is only about 1/2". In the end, I had to throw because it got damaged when I shut the door. I'm going to order another one to see if it is made better. If not, I'll try another brand.

My door is 40"W and I had a tough time finding the right size bottom w/ drip cap for it, the standard door is 36" W. Finally, I found this 48" L-shaped door bottom w/ drip cap at Amazon. My contractor cut it to 40" and it's perfect! Sometimes you have to improvise and it came out amazing! Now my door is weather proof.

Didn't work out for our oversized, custom door. But, a very nice product, we'll made.

Well made, easy to adjust and seals door at threshold very effectively.

Easy to install, great finish on the aluminum and it seals up weather tight. Everything you need to install it is included. I have 4, 48" doors, so I was happy to find these 48" pieces so I wouldn't have to use 2 pieces to get across the door. Most are precut for 36" door.
