NOT a compressed air replacement -- Let me break it down
I've used compressed air for many years to clear photography lenses, etc.Last year I bought the plug-in XPOWER duster, which is a great solution to replacing the cans. It's not full comparable but a great and powerful tool for other jobs.Enter OPOLAR duster. This is a cool idea -- a powerful duster that's portable. The portable aspect is amazing as is the ability to recharge (vs. buying cans) HOWEVER it's simply not that powerful and for sure not worth $80.It's clearly a cheaply made plastic product, the tip stays in but nothing to really secure it. Not worth the cost for what's essentially a mediocre rechargeable battery and a fan that's not as strong as expected. I have high standards but this doesn't cut it. I'd keep it if just a bit more powerful but can't justify the price.Let me breakdown the pros and cons to each of the three options for dusters:compressed air: - high power, small exit hole creates small but extremely powerful point of force - most effective at removing dust from camera lens (and don't need to worry about dust that's caught in fan systems blowing their own dust) - no motor startup, best for quick bursts of air - needs to be used upright due to chemicals - loses power quickly (overcome by alternating cans) - a dime a dozenXPOWER plug in duster - this units a bit larger that these other items and needs wall outlet to work - there's a startup time since there's a motor/fan, and unlike the compressed air, once I'm not with the job, can't immediately place it down, since fan will kick up whatever dust in on surface. - this produces more power than compressed air I think, but output hole is extremely large. Therefore power is not concentrated, and doesn't work well for camera lenses. This is much more effective as a fan to move air across room than compressed air, however not for up-close dust removal. - perfect for blowing dust out of large cavernous bins, areas you can't just right up to, etc. This thing throws air!! - no time limit (battery/chemical limitation) - great value, can't beat price (would guess this twice the cost of this item)OPOLAR duster - portable (size and battery) - falls between the two of the previous; medium size exit hole so it's not ideal for lenses and not ideal for dusting large items. The battery is the perk here. - brush attachment is pretty cool - similar to XPOWER, you can't put it down immediately like with the canned air. Fan needs time to stopWhy I'm returning this:I have the budget for extra toys, but I'm returning because it should cost at least half of what it does. If cord isn't a dealbreaker definitely go for the XPower plug in blower instead. And whatever you choose pay attention to the dust you throw in the air and what you may not realize you're breathing in. Take advantage of the (corona)masks when dusting and use them (and a headlamp if you have one handy, great way to see the dust right in front of you).

Acceptable consider the trade-off between the power/convenience
Pros:-1. Reusable. No more cans. Compressed air is some sort of resource that is even "dirtier" than electricity.-2. Works well for some simple weekly/monthly dust removal in my chassis.Cons:-1 As stated in the description, the speed is 33000RPM (about 118MPH), which is weaker than actual air cans. So if you are dealing with a whole layer of dust, not just particles, go for a can.-2 Noisy.-3 For any procedure that takes hours, the product may need to be charged on the fly otherwise the battery life may not be enough.

SUPERB AIR DUSTER - NEVER BUY CANNED AIR AGAIN
The OPOLAR Air Duster is an excellent unit and very convenient to use.The Nozzle Diameter = .320 in = .0267 feet. The Nozzle Area = .0804 sq inch = .00056 sq feet.Airflow in CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) = Nozzle velocity in Feet/Min x Nozzle Area in sq feet. For highest accuracy I measured the CFM directly using a PRM FMDFG-25 Rotameter (1-15 CFM range).CFM = 7.5, Velocity = 13393 ft/min = 223.2 ft/sec = 152.19MPH.The force 1" from a precision scale is 33.7 grams (exceeding spec of 27.8 to 32.9 grams). The unit is powered by 6000 mAh of 18650 lithium ion batteries. It is quickly recharged by a typical 12 watt USB charger (not provided) using the supplied cable.Stop using Canned Air. This works much better, is much safer, and is perfect for many applications.

Cleaned out my entire PC 10x easier than cans of dust
This is a pricey product, especially when you can buy cans of air for a little over $4 a piece... However, that being said, this has already started paying for itself. The force of air that comes out of this little guy is surprisingly strong for it's small size. I blew upwards in my PC, towards my radiator, and a rather large puff of dust came out of the top. I knew immediately I needed to take the PC to a well-ventelated area to complete the dusting. This is something I'd never expect out of a can of air. They never had the same strength. I also ended up blowing out the rest of my PC (Large form factor) and it knocked the job out of the park in ~15 minutes. Extra time I needed to spend due to how dusty the PC was. It never ran out of battery, it never got too cold to touch, like you'd expect with a can of air about about 5 seconds of use, and now my PC is spic and span and has much less dust hiding away in it.All-in-all this is a fantastic investment, especially if you're a long-use PC users / gamer. I've seen bigger sizes for dusters that you plug into the wall and use, but honestly, I really love the slimmed-down feel this thing has, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an air duster, or was thinking about buying cans of air.

Work great with simple house tasks!
Update: 9/9/19 OPOLAR promptly contacted me regarding a matter after receiving my unit. They completely resolved the issue with great customer service. This air blower has worked great for my needs and Opolar has regained my buyer's trust.

Nice duster that doesn't freeze up, good long-term value
One of the annoying parts about using the spray can duster is that the can seems to freeze up. This becomes a nuisance when you are cleaning this such as your computer since you have to wait until the can defrosts in order to use it again. Fortunately the this isn't an issue with this battery operated duster since all you need to do is recharge it once it run out of juice. This is a great value for the money if you are someone who does stuff like clean electronics frequently as you are paying more now to save in the future.

Don't buy - blowing on dust is more powerful
I have a corded dbpower air blower but wanted a portable air blower. I read the reviews on this and purchased it.I was ib shock when i first tried it. The blower has no power i removed more dust by blowing on the surface. This is a really expensive useless tool. I am returning. But the dbpower corded instead it will blow your head off it's so powerful, and is cheaper.

Expert improvement on the canned air I was using.
It is a great improvement and will pay for itself within months. I am seriously considering purchasing a second one as this one is going to be a gift, I think.....hahaha haven't decided to give it away yet.

Poor performance
Didn't blow as well as canned air. Expensive for what it does. Will consider a DataVac as an alternative.

Used twice and stopped working
Stopped working after second use. probably used for a total of 3 or 4 mins run time total.Thought it may have just run out of charge, given i hadn't ever charged it, but charging doesn't help.Disappointing, definitely don't waste your money. Wasn't very powerful even when it was working.
