These are really good pins for quilt basting. I previously used smaller ones (about 1") and always found them to be somewhat problematic, but these are great. Sharp, and the longer length makes it easier on my hands.

After seeing the reviews of various pins, I decided to try these. They work great. They were easy to use, pierced the fabric easily and I could open and close them without issue. I was using 400 to baste a quilt so a good pin was needed. If I need more, I would buy these again. I see that others said the points weren't sharp. I really didn't find that at all. Out of 400 pins purchased, only 1 was super dull and wouldn't go through fabric. All other points were sharp!

These pins work great for "basting" my quilts. Much faster than hand-basting and easy to use.

These pins are easy to open and easy to put in crochet work without distorting the item. The hold pieces together so they can easily be whip stitched.

I use these pins for quilting and to hold same color skeins of embroidery thread together. These bent pins are excellent quality. They are easier for my fingers to open than the regular style safety pins.My order arrived quickly as well. I will buy from this seller on Amazon again.
