Omg these knives are sooo sharp!! I’ve cut myself twice in the last few days just because I’m not used to having knives that work so well! Knives are OK but the block is the most garish pine grain imaginable. Not at all near the illustration, which suggests European hardwood.

The pine block is not finished or sealed with varnish. The knives are excellent and very sharp. This makes them very easy to use. Be careful, if you are used to semi-dull knives!
