Easy fix. Very well fit.
Got the part overnight and was able to fix the 9 years old Rheem 22V50F1. Part looks solid and it should last another 9 years. Easy replacement, highly recommend.

Rheem has poor customer service
I bought a part to fix my water boiler and they sent me a part that I did not order. It is a different color and not at all what I ordered. I was willing to return maybe get a refund because why would I want a part that I am not able to use. I tried calling and the person who answered was no help. I sat listening to elevator music for a long time. Then I tried emailing but I got a response that they were not in charge of that. NO help whatsoever on how I can fix my problem. If you think of ordering with RHEEM, DONT they do not have any customer service or help with customers from Amazon.

Works good
Everything fit my water heater perfect besides the igniter. I had to splice the igniter wire and attach my old one to it due to wrong end which was not a problem besides that it all works as it should now.

Great kit
This is the Kit you should really be buying if your thermocouple goes. I tried buying and replacing the just the thermocouple and it’s not practical. One, you have to open the access door so your gasket should be replaced. Two, getting the old one out the rubber/silicon “stopper” is not practical on a water heater old enough to need this change. The heat will have made it brittle and crack. This Kit is really nice in that the gasket is not set with double-sided tape, but actually uses magnets to hold it in place till the door is tightened. Very easy to apply and move into position. Very simple to change, just be sure to not over tighten the thermocouple or kink the pilot tube.

Good but not 100% GE replacement
I have a GE hot water heater which was manufactured by Rheem. Since I could not locate direct replacement GE parts, I took a chance that the Rheem parts would work. I was able to use the thermal couple successfully, but the gasket was not even close. I certainly do not blame the SP20075 since it did not claim to be a replacement for the GE heater, and I was happy that the thermal couple worked.
