First , the book was in "new" condition and arrived in timely manner. Secondly, This book's material Will Not guarantee you will pass the certification exam. You either have to be a seasoned AutoCAD user or study other forms,eg. books, video, other people. But has useful downloadable exercise files from the author's website.

This book has been a good resource for me in picking up the changes in the current version of Revit. I keep it by my computer for when I have questions rather than spend time searching the Autodesk database.

Excellent book. I've read many AutoCAD books, but this is one of the best, especially for self-study.It covers a surprising amount of material, even though it's not a particularly large volume.After you're done with this book, if you have the time and want a really comprehensive book, check out one of the "AutoCAD Instructor" books by James Leach. A real tome at 1376 pages for the 2012 edition.

A book for architects alas.Not of much value for engineers, unfortunately.There are architectural versions of AutoCAD, this should be clearly stated within the title.A bad buy for AutoCAD as used by anyone else, other than architects.

This reference for AutoCAD 2012 and LT is a great book that gives simple instruction and can be used for referencing earlier additions of the software as well.
