Great protection for canoe and cars Aerobars
Needed to add a bit of protection to the Aerobar racks of our Honda CRV for canoe trip and was skeptical at first of these due to the low cost. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. Padding provided ample dense cushion, roughly 3/4" on top and bottom of bar. When canoe was strapped snugly down to the bar the pad was still providing cushion and was slip resistant on the canoe surface. Velcro strip runs the length of the pad and there is no way these will blow off going down the road. Pads are made of a very heavy duty material and appear will be very resistant to any wear. We experienced no additional noise from the pads during our 4 hours of travel and are very happy we chose to purchase these. They are wide enough to easily rap around entire Aerobar rack. Our Wenonah canoe made both trips with no issue. Along with the pads come many extras, including straps, tie down points and hood straps. All are fine quality although the hood straps are not as nice as some with the rubber hose style piece that goes under the hood edge verus the sewn padded piece. Believe these would work fine as well but did not yet get the opportunity to try them. Everything came with a nice storage bag as well. These do also fit around the Amp bed extender bars for trucks as well for those looking to use these outside of the normal install. You cant go wrong in my opinion. Good quality and great price.

Quality padding for roof racks
Working on rebuild of porch, I need to carry longer items than fit in my Forester. As my roof rails arc upwards a bit, I want padding to distribute the load of panels, and cushioning helps lumber stay in place.These pads cover the entire width of my rack but would work well with both wider and narrower rails. I don't intend to keep them on the rails all the time, but they are secure and durable.I haven't used their accessory tie-downs, but they look like they'd work well when summer rolls around and I want to take the canoe out.

Great prodauct
These are perfect. The Velcro is really strong and the accessories are very well made. Instructions are very clear. When putting my surfboards on these I have no worries about them moving or loosening up.

This is a good deal
I do not write many reviews but this is certainly worthy of a great review. You cannot beat the product value for the price and after a month of use 2 x week hauling my SUP to a local reservoir mostly at highway speeds it has no signs of wear. The roof rack pads provide good cushion for my hardboard and the tie down straps which are padded also at the buckle keep my 4R roof from scratches. The additional tie downs for under the hood/trunk are a bonus for keeping the SUP from becoming an airborne missile at 75 mph.

The Velcro is very strong, almost difficult to get open! Straps are also super long, so you have more than enough length to strap down anything

It works it works
It my looks cheap but it held my kayak on the freeway going 70 mph. But I did use different ratcheting straps. Very, very happy.

Nice
It serves it’s purpose well for my 12 Pound surfboard. It was pretty easy to put on my car too.
