Great investment
This is worth the buy!!! I had already done a complete flush on my coolant system. Replaced my radiator, pump, coolant, hoses. Then just for fun decided to purchase and install this inline filter. After one week of driving with this installed, I had to take it apart and clean it from all of crap still floating around that I was unaware of until this filter was installed. My brand new radiator could have started becoming clogged. I recommend to everyone now.

Doesn't flow enough
It was good for catching debris in the cooling system, I noticed it also increased the cooling system temperature up 20° from my standard of 180, soon as i removed the filter my temperature came back to normal. Would have given this more stars if the flow rate was higher

Really worth it and it will save you a radiator

It works.
I bought it for my 3/4 ton truck but unfortunately it was too small. It worked perfectly on my 4Runner though, and is working great on it. I like being able to monitor any debris that might form in my cooling system.

Marvelous invention
I had one of these in my 74 Corvette for several years, and it was great for multiple reasons. one was that I could always tell at a glance if I was running low on coolant (old machines sometimes leak without you knowing). The second is it does a good job of screen bits and pieces of rust, which again is a common problem with old engine blocks.Liked it so much I wanted one for my latest project and it installed just as it should.

IT leaks under pressure
Defective design, the u shape screw does not hold the case tight enough. Defective design. Buy if you want to overheat your engine. You could do this for free by putting in a fiberglass mesh in the in holes on the radiator.

Works well
Good heavy construction with tempered glass. Easy to service, collects large pieces of rust and debris that would normally plug a radiator core.
