For the first year it worked flawlessly. Now it has just started failing. After opening up the solenoid I can see they used cheap parts and the surfaces are burnt. Sadly i am a few months outside of my warranty and have to buy another one.

I bought this starter and it worked ok for a little while, then it started winding like the one I replaced, then it started clattering. A month later I have to replace the starter and the chewed up flywheel at a cost of well over a thousand dollars. Go with a starter with a lifetime warranty.

Starter went in perfectly fine and all connections were a match to the existing ones on my truck.

Was not correct one... Didn't fit as stated.. Tried to return and couldn't ... Stuck with a new starter for a 4runner 2004 they say. But it was not correct at all... Waisted $70+ ...

The process of replacing the starter was a little annoying but nothing a few swear words couldn't fix. It does exactly what it needs to do. Been on for probably 6 weeks now with no issues. Starts nicely and way cheaper than brick and mortar offerings.
